<p><p><b>Position Summary : </b><br/><br/>We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our team in developing, testing, and implementing automation solutions within a greenfield environment.<br/><br/>The role involves close collaboration with the Automation Solution Architect and may require occasional travel to Salzburg, Austria.<br/><br/>The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in scripting, DevOps practices, and automation tooling, and a passion for creating scalable, efficient, and maintainable automation workflows.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/>- Design, develop, test, and implement automation solutions based on architectural specifications.<br/><br/>- Collaborate closely with the Automation Solution Architect to ensure alignment with technical requirements and design standards.<br/><br/>- Build automation solutions from the ground up in a greenfield environment.<br/><br/>- Ensure high-quality, maintainable code and workflows through rigorous testing, validation, and code reviews.<br/><br/>- Maintain detailed documentation for developed solutions and workflows.<br/><br/>- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest optimizations.<br/><br/>- Provide support during deployment and post-implementation phases.<br/><br/>- Travel to Salzburg, Austria as needed for project coordination and implementation.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Qualifications : </b><br/><br/>- 5+ years of hands-on experience in automation and DevOps roles.<br/><br/>- Strong expertise in : <br/><br/> - Ansible : Advanced playbook development, workflow design, and visualization.<br/><br/> - Python scripting for automation, orchestration, and integration tasks.<br/><br/> - REST API integration and development.<br/><br/> - DevOps tools and practices : CI/CD pipelines, version control, and infrastructure-as-code.<br/><br/>- Experience in agile, collaborative environments.<br/><br/>- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical thinking.<br/><br/>- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration.<br/><br/><b>Preferred Qualifications : </b><br/><br/>- Certifications in DevOps, Ansible, or related automation technologies.<br/><br/>- Experience working in international or cross-cultural teams.<br/><br/>- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.<br/><br/><b>Travel Requirement : </b><br/><br/>- Occasional travel to Salzburg, Austria may be required for project-related activities<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
