Role Purpose
Firstsource is rebuilding its enterprise web presence on Webflow Enterprise, backed by a modern, API-first, full-stack architecture.
This role leads the engineering effort across the entire website platform — owning the technical vision multi-domains digital estate where Webflow serves as both the CMS and visual development environment, while Next.js/React powers custom front-end experiences and server-side logic where Webflow’s native capabilities end.
You will architect how Webflow’s CMS, Designer, and APIs integrate with custom application logic, third-party services, and data systems.
The expectation is a builder who can move between Webflow’s visual environment and code with equal fluency — and who brings the architectural judgment to know when each is the right tool.
You are expected to have a working understanding of other development platforms to enable migration.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Technical Leadership
- Own the end-to-end technical architecture: Webflow Enterprise as the CMS and visual builder, Next.js/React for custom front-end logic, and a clean API layer connecting both to enterprise systems
- Design and enforce API-first integration patterns — Webflow CMS API and Data API, Hubspot CRM connectors, analytics pipelines in GA, and third-party services
- Architect a modular, component-driven front-end aligned with the UI/UX design system, ensuring reusability across 50–60 custom templates
- Make sound build-vs-extend decisions: know when to solve a problem natively in Webflow and when to build a custom solution in code
Webflow Platform Mastery
- Lead the Webflow Enterprise implementation end-to-end — CMS Collections, component-based page building, custom code embeds, localization, and enterprise permissions
- Build and maintain Webflow-to-custom-application content pipelines using Webflow’s CMS API and Data API
- Configure Webflow’s Designer and Editor environments so non-technical content and marketing teams can publish confidently within governed guardrails
- Manage multi-site architecture within Webflow Enterprise for subsidiary and brand microsites across the Firstsource domain portfolio
- Stay current on Webflow’s evolving capabilities (Apps, Logic, Localization, Memberships) and evaluate them for adoption as they mature
API-First Integration & Data Layer
- Implement server-side and edge rendering strategies for pages or features that exceed Webflow’s native capabilities — dynamic personalization, gated content, complex search
- Ensure PII handling, data pipeline security, and compliance with enterprise data governance standards across all integration points
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with the UI/UX Designer to ensure design tokens and components translate cleanly into Webflow’s component structure and custom code
- Partner with the Content Manager to ensure CMS Collections, content structures, and publishing workflows are technically robust
- Conduct code reviews, define engineering standards, and own technical documentation for the platform
Required Skills & Experience
- 1+ years of professional full-stack web development experience
- Deep expertise in Webflow — Designer, CMS Collections, custom code, hosting, enterprise features, and the CMS/Data APIs
- Strong proficiency in Next.js, React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript ecosystems
- Proven experience architecting API-first web platforms where a visual CMS and custom code coexist
- Strong command of RESTful API design, GraphQL, and third-party API integration patterns
- Solid understanding of web performance optimization (Core Web Vitals, SSR/ISR, edge caching)
- Experience integrating CRM systems (Hubspot and Google Analytics required) with web platforms
- Strong knowledge of web security, PII handling, and enterprise compliance requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing multi-domain or multi-brand web estates on Webflow Enterprise
- Experience with AI/ML integration in web platforms — personalization engines, dynamic content assembly, or LLM-driven features
- Familiarity with structured content modeling and content fragment strategies
- Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and internationalization
