Job description
Job Purpose:
To lead and optimize end-to-end supply chain, procurement, and contract operations across the organization, ensuring operational excellence, cost efficiency, and business agility through strategic sourcing, vendor management, and advanced planning frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Supply Chain Leadership
- Drive strategic direction for the complete supply chain function encompassing procurement, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies for visibility, agility, and risk mitigation.
- Lead Greenfield/Brownfield factory setup initiatives, ensuring timely procurement of capital equipment and infrastructure readiness.
Procurement & Contracts Management
- Oversee direct and indirect procurement (CAPEX/OPEX) with focus on COGS optimization and supplier performance.
- Negotiate EPC, O&M, and supply contracts to ensure value creation, cost control, and compliance.
- Manage end-to-end contract lifecycle, vendor development, and global sourcing initiatives.
Operational Excellence
- Implement Master Production Scheduling (MPS) for production planning, aligning output with demand and capacity.
- Enhance efficiency in import/export processes, inventory management, and customs compliance.
- Drive cost optimization and continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven decision-making.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team to deliver high performance and ensure adherence to business KPIs.
- Promote a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s in Engineering; MBA in Supply Chain / Material Management preferred.
- 20–25 years of experience in end-to-end supply chain, procurement, and logistics functions across manufacturing or renewable energy sectors.
