Position Title: Associate Analyst, Android Engineer Description: We are seeking an Associate Analyst Android Engineer to support the development and maintenance of our Abercrombie and Hollister Android applications.
This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to grow their Android development skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
You will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to contribute to the app lifecycle from concept to deployment and support.
What Will Do?
Assist in the development and maintenance of Android applications under the guidance of senior engineers.
Participate in the full app lifecycle: design, build, test, deploy, and support.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to implement new features and improvements.
Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to code reviews.
Help troubleshoot bugs and performance issues.
Stay current with Android development trends and best practices.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and team planning sessions.
What Will You Need to Bring?

Tech/ master's degree in computer science, MIS, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
1-3 years of experience in Android development (internships or academic projects welcome).
Familiarity with Java and/or Kotlin.
Understanding of Android SDK and basic app architecture.
Exposure to RESTful APIs and JSON.
Basic knowledge of version control systems (e.G., Git).
Willingness to learn and grow in a team-oriented environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Eagerness to learn from feedback and mentorship.
Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
Experience with Android Studio and Gradle preferred.
Familiarity with UI/UX principles and Material Design preferred.
Exposure to testing frameworks like JUnit or Espresso preferred.
Interest in CI/CD tools and mobile deployment processes preferred.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Eagerness to learn from feedback and mentorship.
