<p><p><b>Description:</b></p><br/><p>We are looking for a skilled and proactive Microsoft 365 Engineer to join our Global Infrastructure team.</p><br/><p>You will be part of the Digital Workplace team in our Center of Excellence in Vadodara.</p><br/><p>In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, supporting, and optimizing Microsoft 365 services in coordination with our M365 Architect.</p><br/><p>You will play a key part in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our M365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive, and will work closely with internal teams and external partners.</p><br/><p><b>Your Responsibilities:</b></p><br/><p>- Provide daily operational support and administration of Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive), ensuring adherence to agreed-upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs): on time, within budget and at high quality</p><br/><p>- Implement and manage user access, permissions, and policies in Azure AD and M365 admin portals.</p><br/><p>- Support the rollout and configuration of M365 tools and features, including security settings, compliance configurations, and collaboration capabilities.</p><br/><p>- Monitor service health, usage, and performance; troubleshoot and resolve incidents and problems.</p><br/><p>- Work with the M365 Architect to execute the architectural roadmap, projects, and enhancements.</p><br/><p>- Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and user guides for M365 configurations and processes.</p><br/><p>- Participate in change management, and patching/upgrades of M365 services.</p><br/><p>- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and support solution delivery.</p><br/><p>- Assist with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Power Automate) to improve M365 operations and user experience.</p><br/><p>- Support governance and compliance initiatives by helping to enforce DLP, retention, and audit policies.</p><br/><p>- Provide end-user support and training in collaboration tools and best practices.</p><br/><p>- Stay current with Microsoft updates, releases, and licensing changes.</p><br/><p><b>Your Background:</b></p><br/><p>- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.</p><br/><p>- 3+ years of experience administering and supporting Microsoft 365 environments in a corporate setting.</p><br/><p>- Solid experience with Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business.</p><br/><p>- Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting for M365 automation and reporting.</p><br/><p>- Working knowledge of Azure Active Directory, conditional access, and identity protection.</p><br/><p>- Familiarity with Teams telephony, Teams Town Halls, and Teams administration center.</p><br/><p>- Good understanding of security & compliance tools in Microsoft 365 (DLP, retention policies, secure score, audit logs).</p><br/><p>- Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps) from an administrative perspective is a plus.</p><br/><p>- Experience with monitoring tools and Microsoft service health dashboards.</p><br/><p>- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.</p><br/><p>- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment.</p><br/><p>- Fluency in English is required.</p><br/><p>- German is a plus.</p><br/><p>- Microsoft 365 certifications (e., MS-100, MS-101, or related).</p><br/><p>- Experience in hybrid M365 environments (on-prem AD + Azure AD).</p><br/><p>- Familiarity with ITIL-based service management</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
