<p><p><b>About the Role :</b><br/><br/>We are seeking an Advanced Application Engineer MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) to join our growing team in Bengaluru.<br/><br/>The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in MES implementation, integration, and customization, with the ability to work across industrial automation, system platforms, and enterprise-level solutions.<br/><br/>This role requires hands-on technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and robust MES applications.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Design, develop, configure, and implement MES solutions with a focus on AVEVA MES and System Platform.<br/><br/>- Integrate MES with plant-floor systems including PLC, SCADA, and automation equipment, ensuring seamless data flow.<br/><br/>- Work with SQL databases for data management, reporting, and optimization of MES applications.<br/><br/>- Configure and manage BI Gateway solutions to enable real-time data visualization and reporting.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers, production teams, and IT specialists to analyze business requirements and translate them into MES functionalities.<br/><br/>- Optimize MES applications to support production scheduling, quality control, inventory tracking, and traceability.<br/><br/>- Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of MES applications.<br/><br/>- Provide technical documentation, training, and support for MES implementations.<br/><br/>- Ensure compliance with industry standards, security best practices, and organizational policies in MES deployments.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Qualifications :</b><br/><br/>- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.<br/><br/>- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems).<br/><br/>- Strong expertise in AVEVA MES, System Platform, SQL, and BI Gateway.<br/><br/>- Experience with PLC integration and automation systems.<br/><br/>- Good knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes and MES best practices.<br/><br/>- Proficiency in SQL programming, stored procedures, and database performance optimization.<br/><br/>- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.<br/><br/>- Ability to work in an Agile development environment with cross-functional teams.<br/><br/><b>Preferred Skills :</b><br/><br/>- Experience with other MES platforms in addition to AVEVA.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of ERP integration with MES (e., SAP, Oracle).<br/><br/>- Familiarity with Industry 4.0, IIoT, and digital manufacturing trends.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience with reporting/visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
