<p><p><b>Job Summary :</b><br/><br/> As a Level 2 5 BSS engineer you will be managing BSS platform, applications and services.<br/><br/> You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, configuration changes, as well as controlling access to the network.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/> - Manage the IOTA BSS platform, applications and services.<br/><br/> - Troubleshooting on BSS platform, applications like: Web Servers, Application Servers and Middleware applications (Kafka, JBoss, Tomcat), JSON, APIs (Rest, Soap), LDAP, Docker and Kubernetes.<br/><br/> - Give technical support to sales, marketing, project managers, and the customer, including pre-sales activities that can control and supervise the BSS platform implementation.<br/><br/> - Management and implementation of automation scripts.<br/><br/> - Verify and deploy new software releases.<br/><br/> - Verify and support the implementation of configuration changes.<br/><br/> - Analyze the risk and impact of a new service element integration or design change.<br/><br/> - Coordinate and work together with other teams such as L1 support, Engineering, etc.<br/><br/> - Provide remote support and troubleshooting for integration engineers, customer, and 3rd party.<br/><br/> - Create, review and update processes and procedures to implement new configuration or fix common issues.<br/><br/> - Actively participate and contribute to the problem management process when necessary.<br/><br/> - Cover 24x7 On-Call duty on request to support the L1 team.<br/><br/> - Coordinate, support and execute proactive and reactive maintenance activities to ensure that high quality services within agreed SLAs.<br/><br/> - Create and deliver reports and dashboards of KPIs.<br/><br/><b>Minimum Requirements :</b><br/><br/> Bachelor of Science in Telecommunication, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years of work experience.<br/><br/><b>Preferred Requirements :</b><br/><br/>- Intermediate knowledge of a choice (two or more would be nice) of techologies used in scalable cloud applications: Web Servers, Application Servers and Middleware applications (Kafka, JBoss, Tomcat), JSON, APIs (Rest, Soap), LDAP, Docker and Kubernetes.<br/><br/>- Intermediate Scripting knowledge (Python, Perl, Shell).<br/><br/>- Basic knowledge of SQL; Database programming would be nice.<br/><br/>- Basic knowledge of Linux.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of English spoken and written at a level sufficient to manage relationships with colleagues and corporate organizations with which it is connected.<br/><br/>- Enterprise platforms architecture and Java programming would be nice.<br/><br/>- Telecom architectures concepts and Networking knowledge would be nice.<br/><br/>- Good knowledge of Virtualization and cloud concepts and hands on experience with public cloud.<br/><br/>- Big Data and Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning / Deep Learning concept.<br/><br/>- Availability to work on-call.<br/><br/>- Proficiency in English.<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
