<p><p><b>Description :</b><br/><br/>About the job :<br/><br/>The Opportunity :<br/><br/>ACA believes that we can deliver the worlds best GRC software to our blue-chip financial services client base of over 3500 firms.<br/><br/>We are seeking top talent to join us in our journey to build and deliver The Salesforce of Compliance.<br/><br/>This AI Developer role is responsible for the development and delivery of ACAs AI initiatives that power ACAs flagship ComplianceAlpha platform.<br/><br/>We are looking for a hands-on self-starter with a passion for great software.<br/><br/>Only motivated problem solvers willing to take the initiative and demonstrate consistent follow-through need apply.<br/><br/>Office Locations : Pittsburgh OR Durham<br/><br/>Must be able to go into one of these offices 2 days/week (Hybrid)<br/><br/><b>Your key responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Develop new AI capabilities written in python.<br/><br/>- Enhance and maintain existing AI features written in python.<br/><br/>- Work together with the technical architects, client implementation team, and infrastructure team to develop, test, and maintain AI solutions.<br/><br/>- Follow a fast-paced, agile process, and assist with estimation of sprint deliverables.<br/><br/>- Ensure secure coding and best practices for testing and DevOps pipeline across an end-to-end solution.<br/><br/>- Remain up to date with the terminology, concepts, and frameworks for coding python-based AI apps.<br/><br/>- Provide diagnostic support and issue resolutions for the ACA-developed/owned software applications.<br/><br/><b>Skills and attributes for success :</b><br/><br/>- Self-motivated to deliver the best possible software solutions in a fast-paced collaborative environment.<br/><br/>- Skilled in Agile development, efficiently collaborating in sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives, and committed to delivering project milestones within cross-functional teams.<br/><br/>- Ability to apply critical thinking, problem solve, manage priorities, and identify and communicate risks.<br/><br/>- Interested in learning and experimenting with new technologies and cloud development strategies, to stay ahead of the curve.<br/><br/>- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.<br/><br/><b>To qualify for the role, you must have :</b><br/><br/>- At least 7 years of experience developing python-based solutions.<br/><br/>- Experience with LangChain.<br/><br/>- Experience with commercial LLMs (Llama, GPT, DeepSeek, Gemini, Claude, etc.)<br/><br/>- Experience with Retrieval Augmented Generation.<br/><br/>- Experience with implementing AI agents.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of sftp, ssh, and http protocols.<br/><br/>- Excellent knowledge of SQL, No-SQL, or vector databases.<br/><br/>- Demonstrated professional integrity.<br/><br/>- Dependable, flexible, and adaptable to new ACA initiatives and changing client needs.<br/><br/>- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, small-team environment.<br/><br/>- Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize effectively.<br/><br/>- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and clients.<br/><br/>- Highly motivated and goal oriented; proactive in ones own education and career progression; volunteers for and shows initiative on both internal and external projects and tasks.<br/><br/>- Dedicated to upholding ACAs high-quality standards and customer service focus.<br/><br/>- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.<br/><br/>- Strong oral and written communication skills.<br/><br/><b>Ideally, you will also have :</b><br/><br/>- Bachelors Degree in a STEM related field.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with the Model Context Protocol.<br/><br/>- Some experience with javascript or typescript.<br/><br/>- Some experience with OIDC, Oath2, or other authentication protocols.<br/><br/>- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and AWS infrastructure as code (ideally, CDK).<br/><br/>- Experience with design patterns and how they translate within a python development environment.<br/><br/>- Understanding of concurrent programing concepts, data privacy, encryption, and secure coding best practices</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
