<p><p><b>Job Description : </b></p><p><b><br/></b></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Design and implement search architectures using Apache Solr, Elasticsearch, or OpenSearch, including schema design, indexing pipelines, and replication setups<br/><br/></p><p>- Develop and maintain Python-based services for data ingestion, processing, orchestration, and ML integration<br/><br/></p><p>- Optimize search relevance through advanced techniques like tokenization, analyzers, stemming, boosting, and custom scoring<br/><br/></p><p>- Deploy and manage cloud-based infrastructure on AWS (ECS, Lambda, S3, IAM) for scalable search applications<br/><br/></p><p>- Build and maintain robust, testable APIs that expose search functionalities to frontend and backend systems<br/><br/></p><p>- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated testing (unit, integration, performance) to ensure code quality<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with engineering, data, and product teams to integrate search into broader application Qualifications :</b></p><br/></p><p>- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Apache Solr, Elasticsearch, or OpenSearch<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong proficiency in Python for scripting, data manipulation, and ML prototyping<br/><br/></p><p>- Proven experience deploying workloads on AWS, including services such as ECS, Lambda, S3, and IAM<br/><br/></p><p>- Deep understanding of search relevance concepts, including tokenization, stemming, analyzers, boosting, </p><p>and query/index-time optimization strategies<br/><br/></p><p>- Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines and writing automated tests (unit, integration, performance)<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical Skills :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Exposure to LLM fine-tuning or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience working with search datasets in the construction or AEC industry<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Pulumi<br/><br/></p><p>- Understanding of container security best practices and the AWS Well-Architected Framework</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
