Candidates with a PhD from a Tier 1 institution and less industry experience may also be considered.<br/><br/></p><p>- Algorithm development : minimum ~3 years<br/><br/></p><p>- Computer vision : minimum ~3 years<br/><br/></p><p>- Image processing : minimum ~3 years<br/><br/></p><p>- C++ development : minimum ~3 years<br/><br/></p><p>Experience in a product company (current or past) is mandatory.
No unexplained employment Overview :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>The successful candidate will join a team of algorithm and software engineers to design and deliver deep learning, machine learning, image processing, and related algorithms for wafer inspection and metrology products.
The role requires creativity in idea generation, strong analytical skills, and the ability to implement robust ML workflows for production.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
Domestic or international travel (up to 20%) may be required to support customer betas, demos, or Responsibilities :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Design and develop DL/ML, image processing, and computer vision algorithms for wafer inspection and metrology.<br/><br/></p><p>- Evaluate and improve training datasets, model architectures, and ML/DL workflows to boost performance and robustness.<br/><br/></p><p>- Compare alternative models/approaches and select the best solutions for production </p><p>requirements.<br/><br/></p><p>- Develop methods to improve signal-to-noise ratio and extract information from noisy or low-</p><p>quality images.<br/><br/></p><p>- Implement, test, and optimize algorithms for production : write clean C++/Python code and </p><p>use source control.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with product engineering to define performance specifications and ensure </p><p>deliverables meet requirements.<br/><br/></p><p>- Provide technical support during demos and beta testing; engage with customers and cross-</p><p>functional teams.<br/><br/></p><p>- Work with local and global teams across all product lifecycle phases; travel up to 20% as Qualifications :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong background in image processing, computer vision, or pattern recognition.</p><p><br/></p>- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in C/C++, Python, Linux shell scripting, and object-oriented programming.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with source code control systems (e.g., Git).<br/><br/></p><p>- Good communication skills and ability to manage multiple Qualifications :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>Candidates should meet one of the following degree and experience combinations :</p><p><br/></p><p>- Doctorate (PhD) academic degree with 0 years related work experience (PhD candidates from Tier 1 institutions with limited industry experience may be considered).</p><p><br/></p><p>- Master's degree plus at least 3 years related work experience.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Bachelor's degree plus at least 5 years related work experience.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
