Qualifications and Desired Skills
- A degree in industrial design, tomography ,animation and 3D modeling, or equivalent with a strong understanding and hands-on experience in setting up scenes with multiple objects, lighting and hyper photo-realistic rendering of scenes in real-time (60fps)
- Knowledge of working principles and fundamentals of high-performance 3D rendering, cinematic rendering, ray-casting, lighting, special illumination and m a terial effects, scene hierarchy management
- Experience with WebGL, NVIDIA, CUDA and RTX core based algorithms design.
with full knowledge and end-to-end know-how of design principles with impact on final rendered image quality and time to render. - Strong knowledge of parametric procedural modeling of objects in three.js, openGL , CascadeStudio, CadQuery to generate real time interactive scenes
- 3D asset creation from point clouds and management of libraries of objects, with an ability to animate interactively
- Ability to create compute hardware optimized high-performance algorithms to address design requirements on rendering quality and time to render with interactive speeds
- Ability to handle hands-on work on design along, with an experimental mindset.
- Ability to effectively develop verification and validation strategies and document creation as part of design rigor
- Ability to oversee the algorithms development from prototype to validated design for production readiness
- Good grasp of root-causing issues manifested at a rendered image level to their underlying causes at a modular level and their cross interactions
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Previous experience in R&D or product development with strong hands on experience on technical design journey from conceptualization to market launch with three-dimensional scene rendering in real-time is a must
- Must demonstrate willingness to constantly learn and adapt to growing needs of the domain with a growth mindset
- The role requires strong teamwork and the ability to mentor and work collaboratively in a team effectively to deliver to the assigned deliverable goals as a single cohesive unit
- Experience with 3D visualization and manipulation toolkits like Point Cloud Library, VTK, ITK, MeshLab, 3DSlicer, etc
