<p><p><b>About AlphaSense :</b></p><p><br/>The worlds most sophisticated companies rely on AlphaSense to remove uncertainty from decision-making.<br/> With market intelligence and search built on proven AI, AlphaSense delivers insights that matter from content you can trust.<br/> Our universe of public and private content includes equity research, company filings, event transcripts, expert calls, news, trade journals, and clients own research content.</p><p><br/></p><p>The acquisition of Tegus by AlphaSense in 2024 advances our shared mission to empower professionals to make smarter decisions through AI-driven market AlphaSense and Tegus will accelerate growth, innovation, and content expansion, with complementary product and content capabilities that enable users to unearth even more comprehensive insights from thousands of content sets.<br/> Our platform is trusted by over 6,000 enterprise customers, including a majority of the S&P 500.</p><p><br/></p><p>Founded in 2011, AlphaSense is headquartered in New York City with more than 2,000 employees across the globe and offices in the U.S., U.K., Finland, India, Singapore, Canada, and Ireland.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>Come join us!</p><p><b><br/></b></p><p><b>About The Role :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p><p> We are seeking a passionate software engineer to join our Search platform team.</p><p><br/></p><p>Our team designs and scales the core engine behind our high-performance financial document search platformpowering lightning-fast search over billions of documents, with millions of requests flowing through our systems every single day.<br/>We work with Vespa, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, and Java to build fast, intelligent, and reliable backend systems that ensure relevant results and proper access control for :</b></p><p><br/>- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in Software Development with proficiency in the Java ecosystem.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Solid understanding of data structures, and algorithms.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience with Spring-based applications.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar container orchestration tools.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Ability to write high-quality code and tests for scalable, reliable, and distributed systems.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Comfortable with system debugging, monitoring tools, and performance tuning.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and To Have :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p><p> - Hands-on experience in Java17 or beyond with concepts like Experience with microservices architecture and software design principles.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Working knowledge of any cloud service provider(preferably AWS).<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Familiar with IAC technologies such as Terraform and Crossplane.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience with Apache Solr and/or open-source search engines such as Vespa or Elasticsearch.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience with vector/neural search technologies.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Exposure to NoSQL solutions like MongoDB, DynamoDB etc.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Exposure working on scalability, reliability, and design :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p><p> - Design, develop, and maintain backend systems for company search and entitlement validation.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Optimize and enhance search relevance and performance by improving existing algorithms.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Work with and manage data across Vespa Search, Elasticsearch, and MongoDB.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Ensure data access is secure and compliant with entitlement rules and business logic.<br/></p><p><br/></p><p>- Monitor system health, performance, and reliability;
