<p><p><b>Job Summary:</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p> We are seeking an experienced and strategic General Manager Finance to lead our Finance & Accounts operations.<br/><br/></p><p> The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day revenue and expense accounting, monthly book closing, financial reporting, statutory compliances (including GST and direct taxation), and audits.<br/><br/></p><p> The candidate should possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial regulations and GAAP.</p><p><br/></p><p><p><b>Key Accounting & Reporting</b></p><p><br/></p> - Oversee day-to-day accounting operations related to revenue, expenses, and general ledger activities.<br/><br/></p><p> - Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual book closing.<br/><br/></p><p> - Prepare and analyse financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting principles.<br/><br/></p><p> - Manage reconciliations, provisions, accruals, and journal & Compliance</b></p><p><br/></p> - Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns, TDS, income tax, and other statutory requirements.<br/><br/></p><p> - Coordinate with consultants and internal stakeholders for tax assessments, audits, and scrutiny matters.</p><p><br/></p><p> - Maintain compliance with all direct and indirect tax laws and regulatory & Controls</b></p><p><br/></p> - Lead statutory, internal, and tax audits.<br/><br/></p><p> - Ensure implementation and monitoring of strong internal controls and policies.<br/><br/></p><p> - Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and cross-functional teams for audit closures and financial Leadership & Process Management</b></p><p><br/></p> - Manage and mentor the finance team to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency.<br/><br/></p><p> - Drive process improvements and automation initiatives within the finance function.<br/><br/>- Develop and maintain SOPs and policies for finance Responsibilities</b></p><p><br/></p> - Handle multi-currency accounting and foreign exchange exposure, especially in revenue and payables.<br/><br/></p><p> - Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in coordination with FP&A or senior leadership.<br/><br/></p><p> - Contribute to strategic financial planning, cost control, and profitability Qualification:</b> Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost Accountant (ICWA) / MBA in Finance from a reputed Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, preferably in IT, Telecom, or Service-based Skills:</b></p><p><br/></p> - Strong knowledge of Indian GAAP, GST, Direct Taxation.<br/><br/></p><p> - Familiarity with multi-currency transactions and reporting.<br/><br/></p><p> - Proficiency in Accounting systems and advanced Excel Skills:</b></p><p><br/></p> - Strong leadership and communication abilities.<br/><br/></p><p> - Analytical mindset and problem-solving orientation.</p><br/></p> (ref:iimjobs.com)
