<p><p><b>Position : </b> Senior Software Engineer Golang & Linux.<br/><br/> <b>Experience : </b> 6+ years.<br/><br/> <b>Location : </b> Onsite Bangalore.<br/><br/> <b>Employment Type : </b> Full-time.</p><br/><p><b>About the Role : </b></p><br/><p>We are seeking an experienced Golang & Linux Developer with 6+ years of hands-on expertise to join our engineering team.</p><br/><p>The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and optimizing high-performance backend systems, working with Linux-based environments, and contributing to scalable and secure solutions.</p><br/><p><b>Key Responsibilities : </b></p><br/><p>- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and microservices using Golang.<br/><br/>- Work extensively in Linux environments for development, deployment, and troubleshooting.<br/><br/>- Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of backend systems.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).<br/><br/>- Optimize application performance with a focus on concurrency, memory management, and low latency.<br/><br/>- Integrate with databases, APIs, and message queues to build robust distributed systems.<br/><br/>- Debug, profile, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps) to deliver solutions.</p><br/><p><b>Required Skills & Experience : </b></p><br/><p>- 6+ years of professional experience in software development.<br/><br/>- Strong expertise in Golang (Go) for building production-grade applications.<br/><br/>- Solid background in Linux/Unix systems, shell scripting, and system-level troubleshooting.<br/><br/>- Strong knowledge of concurrency, multithreading, and distributed systems.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.<br/><br/>- Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).<br/><br/>- Familiarity with REST APIs, gRPC, and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS, etc.<br/><br/>- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in complex system environments.</p><br/><p><b>Nice to Have : </b></p><br/><p>- Experience with Linux kernel internals or system programming.<br/><br/>- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).<br/><br/>- Familiarity with observability & monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).<br/><br/>- Understanding of infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).<br/><br/>- Knowledge of security best practices (OAuth2, JWT, TLS).</p><br/><p><b>Qualifications : </b></p><br/><p>- Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.<br/><br/>- Proven track record of delivering scalable, reliable backend solutions.<br/><br/>- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
