<p>About the job :<br/><br/>We are looking for an Android Developer with 2-4 years work experience in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose to build mobile-first SaaS products such as waiter apps, kiosk apps, scanning solutions, and POS terminals.<br/><br/>Responsibilities :<br/><br/>- Design and build Android apps (POS terminals, waiter apps, scanning apps).<br/><br/>- Work on offline-first Android apps that sync with SaaS backends.<br/><br/>- Integrate payment SDKs, barcode scanning libraries, and Bluetooth printers.<br/><br/>- Optimize app performance, UX, and security.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with backend and design teams to deliver scalable solutions.<br/><br/>- Publish and maintain apps on Google Play Store / enterprise distribution.<br/><br/>Required Skills : </p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Android SDK.<br/><br/>- Experience with offline caching, Room DB, SQLite.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of Bluetooth/USB integrations (printers, card readers, scanners).<br/><br/>- Familiarity with payment SDKs (Stripe Terminal, SumUp, Adyen, etc.).<br/><br/>- Experience with Firebase (Auth, FCM, Crashlytics, Remote Config).<br/><br/>- RESTful/GraphQL API integration.<br/><br/>- AI Product Knowledge (Required)<br/><br/>- Experience with ML Kit (OCR, barcode scanning, image recognition).<br/><br/>- Exposure to AI-driven recommendations in ordering apps.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with voice ordering / NLP SDKs for waiter/kiosk apps.<br/><br/>- Interest in predictive analytics for mobile dashboards.<br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
