ROLE DESCRIPTION:
- Design and develop Android applications with guidance from senior developers
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code under guidance
- Own and deliver assigned stories and tasks
- Collaborate with team members to implement new features
- Debug and fix issues in existing applications and resolve production issues proactively
- Support code quality and follow best practices
- Learn and apply new tools and technologies to improve development
- Provide basic support for troubleshooting and maintenance tasks
- Translate business requirements into scalable application architectures
- Assess feasibility and scalability of front-end solutions; collaborate with business and product teams
- Build sustainable and accessibility-compliant solutions
- Address and prevent long-term technical debt
- Research and develop proof-of-concepts and innovative customer interaction ideas
- Foster a learning culture by sharing best practices and lessons learned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Technical Skills:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science / information science.
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in Android development using Kotlin.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON for app integration
- Solid understanding of Android SDK and core components (Activities, Fragments, Services)
- Hands on with AWS (1 yr mandatory)
- Experience with Core Data, Push Notifications, and App Lifecycle Management.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Lean practices
- Understanding of MVVM or Viper or MVC architecture pattern.
- Familiarity with Android Architecture Components (View Model, Live Data, Navigation)
