<p><p><b>Description :</b><br/><br/></p><p><br/>As an SDET Engineer, youll be embedded with our engineering team, driving the test strategy across our suite of payment solutions.<br/><br/>You'll design and implement robust test automation frameworks and contribute to a culture of engineering quality.<br/><br/>You'll understand the criticality of precision, compliance, and speed in building financial products, and youll thrive in the agility and flexibility of a startup environment.<br/><br/><b>WHAT YOULL BE DOING :</b><br/><br/>- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for web, backend, and API services using modern methodologies like modern test automation frameworks, continuous testing, and shift-left testing methodologies.<br/><br/>- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and DevOps to integrate quality throughout the development lifecycle and ensure testability from design to release.<br/><br/>- Investigate test failures, identify root causes, and prevent regressions, contributing to a culture of proactive quality assurance.<br/><br/>- Drive testing initiatives across performance, security, and reliability, and define quality gates for critical fintech components.<br/><br/>- Advocate for best practices in CI/CD, test data management, observability, and regulatory compliance within the payments domain.<br/><br/><b>ABOUT YOU :</b><br/><br/>- Demonstrable experience as an SDET or QA Engineer with strong automation experience.<br/><br/>- Deep understanding of software QA methodologies and best practices in fast-paced environments.<br/><br/>- Programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages.<br/><br/>- Experience testing RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.<br/><br/>- Expertise with tools like Postman, K6/Gatling, Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.<br/><br/>- Comfortable working in a startup environment fast-paced & dynamic environment.<br/><br/>- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (such as GitHub Actions, AWS CI/CD, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.<br/><br/>- Strong analytical and debugging skills; ability to triage production and test failures.<br/><br/><b>BENEFITS :</b><br/><br/>- Health: Insurance (Employee, spouse, and two children) optional cover for parents or in laws.<br/><br/>- Leave: 15 personal days per year + Festival holidays.<br/><br/>- You can also take your birthday off as paid leave, and we offer a paid day off for any charity work you want to participate in.<br/><br/>- Enrichment: Learning and development training, with a yearly budget, to strengthen your career and progression, leadership in house training and monthly lunch and learn, where you eat lunch and learn with our guest presenter.<br/><br/>- Social: Monthly team outings & incentives.<br/><br/>- Some of our recent ones includeHackathon, Lunch and Learns and team building games.<br/><br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
