API DeveloperHyderabadEssential Responsibilities: Design, develop and maintain API integration solutions, based on IBM API ConnectParticipate as an API integration developer in Global IT projectsAnalyse and modify existing API integrations based on business change requestsAdhere to the Development and Change processes established in the Development TeamProvide support on integration testingProvide third line support for existing API integrationsTechnical Requirements: 3+ years of experience in IT integration support or development.Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience on the IBM API Connect product suite.
Including development and configurationWorking experience with CI/CD and Dev Ops frameworksKnowledge and experience in the use of API gateways, specifically IBM API Connect.Must have understanding latest API Authentication standards and Authorization techniques.Should have working experience with Open API Specification standards, specifically YAML.Should communicate effectively with API owners, stake holders and technical teams.A good understanding of IT security in the context of API integration.· Have experience of security implementations for Mutual Auth, Basic Auth, SSO, SAML, encrypt, decrypt, sign and verify.· Experience in OAuth 2, API Key Manager.· Knowledge of JSON, JWT and JWKS and their underlying specifications· Knowledge of XSLT, XPATH, XQuery and Reg ExExperience and knowledge in the use of the following technologies:GIT, specifically BitbucketJenkinsJIRA, Confluence and BitbucketKibanaOAuthOpen API specificationSOAP and RESTStrong focus on delivery and service-oriented mindset, with the ability to communicate effectively eith end users and guide them through onboarding into the solution to ensure successful burin-inProfficient in creating comprehensive guides and documentationShould have strong analytical skills to understand the development requirements.Must understand concepts like B2 B, EAI, and ESB.Agile mindset of pulling the work from backlog rather being pushed to take the task.Take responsibility to own the work in end to end implementation.Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
