About This Opportunity

Job Title: Software Engineer I - Backend

Location: Bengaluru

Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and skilled Backend Software Engineer with expertise in Node.Js to join our dynamic team.

You will be responsible for building scalable, high-performance backend systems, designing RESTful APIs, GraphQl, integrating with databases and caching layers, and deploying code using modern DevOps practices.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.Js and Express.Js
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs
• Good knowledge on Microservice Architecture
• Manage data models and caching mechanisms with RDBMS
• Develop and maintain with Complex Systems
• Develop and maintain with Kafka, Elasticsearch Etc
• Containerize applications using Docker and support CI/CD pipelines
• Optimize backend systems for performance, scalability, and resilience
• Debug and resolve issues across development, staging, and production environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement robust solutions
• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code following best practices

Technical Skills :

• Strong proficiency in Node.Js, Express.Js
• Hands-on experience with RDBMS

Good to have:

• Familiarity with Technologies like Kafka, AWS, Elasticsearch, GraphQl
• Knowledge of Docker for containerization
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools
• Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha
• Proficient in Git and version control best practices

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ownership-driven with a proactive attitude
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams is a plus

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years of backend development experience with the Node.Js stack
