Position: US IT Recruiter
Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat (On-Site)
Shift Timings: 6:30 PM – 3:30 AM IST (US EST Hours)
About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned US IT Recruiter with hands-on experience supporting core IT clients or State Government projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes in the US staffing industry, including sourcing, screening, negotiation, and placement across Contract, C2H, and Full-Time positions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and attract top IT talent through job boards (Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter), referrals, networking, and internal databases.
- Screen candidates for technical and functional skills, communication, and cultural fit based on client requirements.
- Manage the full recruitment life cycle, from sourcing to onboarding, ensuring a smooth candidate experience.
- Handle multiple hiring types: Contract, Contract-to-Hire (CTH), and Permanent (Full-Time) placements.
- Work extensively with core IT technologies and State government clients, understanding niche technical requirements.
- Strong working knowledge of US Tax Terms (W2, 1099, C2C) and visa classifications (H1B, GC, EAD, USC).
- Coordinate interviews, follow-ups, salary/rate negotiations, and final closures.
- Maintain a robust candidate pipeline for recurring and future client needs.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with candidates and clients for long-term partnerships.
- Provide market intelligence on candidate availability, rate trends, and sourcing strategies.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (Preferred: Computer Science, IT, or Engineering).
- 2+ years of proven US IT recruitment experience, preferably working with core IT or State clients.
- Proficient in Boolean search techniques and sourcing through LinkedIn Recruiter & ATS platforms.
- Strong understanding of technical skill sets across software development, infrastructure, data, and cloud domains.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Experience managing recruitment metrics, pipelines, and performance tracking.
