<p><p><b>Overview</b><br/><br/>Job Title : Manager,QA.<br/><br/>Location : Bangalore.<br/><br/>As a Manager of Quality Engineering, you will play a key role in driving exceptional levels of quality and testing efficiency within our products, while simultaneously partnering with other teams within Research and Development to ensure delivery objectives are consistently achieved.<br/><br/>This role is designed for individuals who have a solid foundation in quality engineering, testing, and leadership, and are eager to contribute their skills to enhance rapid delivery of enterprise supply chain solutions.<br/><br/>You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and utilize both your technical expertise and leadership skills to contribute to the overall success of our organization.<br/><br/>You will be a strategic partner, mentor, and facilitator, enabling the Scrum teams to take ownership of quality and deliver high-quality products like this person to have the following skills/abilities : .<br/><br/>- Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.<br/><br/>- Demonstrable experience as a QA Manager, Lead, or similar role, with 7+ years in quality assurance and at least 2 years in a management position.<br/><br/>- Proven experience managing distributed QA teams, including training, performance management, and team development.<br/><br/>- Deep knowledge of quality engineering methodologies, tools, and frameworks.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience with software testing, defect tracking, and quality management systems (e., JIRA, Zephyr, Azure DevOps, TestRail, and Quality Centre).<br/><br/>- Background in developing and managing automated test suites using tools such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, QTP, or similar, and scripting languages.<br/><br/>- Demonstrated ability to utilize expert knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology and processes to shift left in testing and identify defects earlier in the delivery cycle.<br/><br/>- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to various stakeholders.<br/><br/>- CI/CD knowledge preferred.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with AI test tools a plus.<br/><br/><b>What?</b><br/><br/>In This Role, You Would.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely releases that meet and exceed quality expectations.<br/><br/>- Support QE efforts across multiple product lines and scrum teams.<br/><br/>- Use subject matter expertise to guide scrum teams in creating comprehensive test strategies and plans, including manual and automated testing, performance testing, and security testing.<br/><br/>- Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to QEs within the Scrum teams, helping them stay up-to-date with the latest tools, technologies, and testing techniques.<br/><br/>- Act as a central point of contact for quality-related issues, helping to resolve conflicts and facilitate effective communication between Scrum teams, product owners, and other stakeholders.<br/><br/>- Monitor key quality metrics (e., defect density, test execution rate, code coverage, etc.) across all Scrum teams to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and report on the overall product quality.<br/><br/>- Assist teams in identifying and implementing process improvements through retrospectives and data analysis, to ensure ongoing enhancement of QE practices and team effectiveness.<br/><br/>- Drive shift-left strategies to identify defects and quality risks earlier in the delivery process.<br/><br/><b>Whats in it for you?</b><br/><br/>Aptean offers competitive pay and robust benefit plans along with the opportunity to grow your career in a fast-paced, flexible and casual environment, an outstanding opportunity for career development and growth.<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
