the job</b><br/><br/><b>About the Company</b><br/><br/>Arcolab is a Global Capability Centre designed to provide a wide range of specialized capabilities across diverse business functions.<br/><br/>With a strong focus on customer centricity and delivering excellence, Arcolab positions itself as a Centre of Excellence within the pharmaceutical sector.<br/><br/>By driving customer-first strategies and developing niche expertise, Arcolab supports its clients in addressing complex business needs across multiple areas.<br/><br/>Our organization is at the forefront of innovation, driving value across the entirety of the customers digital and AI transformation journey through repeatable and customized cutting-edge solutions powered by Microsoft Azure suite and AI.<br/><br/><b>About the Role :</b><br/><br/>The Data and Analytics function is hiring for a Lead Data Architect with about 12+ years of experience, who will be responsible for translating the clients business requirements into an optimal architecture designed to address client business problems.<br/><br/><b>Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Gather customer/partner insights from a broad range of stakeholders.<br/><br/>- Define and document the architecture to communicate the value proposition of the business solution.<br/><br/>- Drive project/technical governance of the design, build, and deployment.<br/><br/>- Work with business sponsors and customer/partner stakeholders to gather and ratify requirements and constraints.<br/><br/>- Responsible for dimensional modelling, best practices, and development of data accelerators.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills</b><br/><br/>- About 12+ years of experience in relevant fields.<br/><br/>- Experience with cloud platforms, such as Azure.<br/><br/>- Knowledge on big data developments and technology architectures.<br/><br/>- Strong understanding of complex business problems to ensure projects are leveraging the appropriate technology and the technical design.<br/><br/>- Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, database migrations, and technology management.<br/><br/>- Experience in moving data from on-premises data platforms to cloud and designing cloud native data warehouse platform.<br/><br/>- Experience working with transactional, temporal, time series, and structured and unstructured data.<br/><br/>- Big Data and Data Warehouses including Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Explorer, Azure Data factory, Pyspark, SQL and some experience in Fabric.<br/><br/>- Advanced Analytics including Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Bricks, data visualization tools (i.<br/><br/> PowerBI, Tableau).<br/><br/>- Data Science and Machine Learning (i.e Azure ML, ML Server, TensorFlow, or other similar frameworks).<br/><br/>- Experience with cloud infrastructure, storage optimization and query optimizations.<br/><br/>- Experience in delivering/managing lifecycle of software/services using DevOps/MLOps.<br/><br/>- Proficiency in data modeling and design, including SQL development and database administration.<br/><br/>- Experience with cloud platforms, such as Azure, to manage and integrate data systems.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of big data developments and technology architectures.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with data security measures and compliance regulations.<br/><br/>- Ability to design and model database, data warehouse, and data flow infrastructures.<br/><br/>- Understanding of data integration and the tools to manage data flow.<br/><br/>- Excellent communication and collaboration skills<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
