<p><b>BASIC PURPOSE</b> : <br/><br/>Assistant Manager/STL - Full stack is responsible for planning, designing and delivering high quality Web and Mobile Applications.

Instrumental in understanding functional requirements, guiding teams through deliveries, profiling and improving front-end and back-end application performance, mentor team members and take end to end ownership of applications.<br/><br/><b>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : </b><br/><br/>- Design, build and implement performant and robust cloud platform solutions.<br/><br/>- Provide level of effort estimates to support planning activities.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with Product Designers, Product Managers, Project Managers, Architects and Software Engineers to deliver compelling user-facing products.<br/><br/>- Provide architecture and design guidance to team.<br/><br/>- Continuously evaluate and improve Agile practices and processes within teams.<br/><br/>- Guide teams in understanding ROI, prioritizing backlog items and resolving impediments.<br/><br/>- Deliver high-quality, secure and cost-optimized work on time.<br/><br/>- Establish best practices for maintaining code quality standards.<br/><br/>- Support software process definition and improvement initiatives and release process working with DevOps team in CI/CD pipelines developed with Terraform and CDK as Infrastructure-as-Code.<br/><br/>- Awareness of system defects that may occur in their area of responsibility, including product design, verification, and testing activities.<br/><br/>- Maintain Release pipelines for upcoming deliveries.<br/><br/>- Mentor less experienced team members.<br/><br/>- Build and maintain Individual Development Plans for direct reports.<br/><br/>- Understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs.<br/><br/>- Manage and inspire diverse teams, foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.<br/><br/>- Enable and ensure resource utilization on high value initiatives.<br/><br/>REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS : <br/><br/>- Reports to Manager, Digital : <br/><br/>- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / related engineering field OR equivalent experience in related field.<br/><br/>- 10+ years of experience in Application Development.<br/><br/>- 3+ years of experience in Team Management.<br/><br/>- Expert proficiency in React JS, React Native and Next JS.<br/><br/>- Expert proficiency in JavaScript/Typescript and/or Java with Spring Boot.<br/><br/>- Experience in AWS services including API Gateway, AppSync, Amplify, S3, CloudFront, Lambda, ECS/Fargate, Step Functions, SQS, SNS, Event Bridge, IAM, Cognito, Dynamo, Aurora PostgreSQL, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, AWS Pinpoint.<br/><br/>- Experience in architecting and developing event driven cloud-based solutions.<br/><br/>- Expert understanding of building and working with CI/CD pipelines.<br/><br/>- Extensive experience with Service Oriented Architecture, microservices, virtualization and working with relational databases and non-relational databases.<br/><br/>- Experience with secure coding best practices and methodologies, vulnerability scans, threat modeling, and cyber-risk assessments.<br/><br/>- Familiar with modern build pipelines and tools.<br/><br/>- History of building high impact and high-performance applications.<br/><br/>- Excellent written, verbal communication skills.<br/><br/>- Able to work autonomously with little direction.

They should be able to prioritize tasks and manage their time effectively, while keeping stakeholders informed of progress.
