Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President, MES Solution Architect!
As a MES Solution Architect, you will own the technical vision for MES programs, lead architecture and design decisions, support pre-sales engagements, and ensure delivery excellence on any one of the MES platforms (GE Proficy, Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FTPC, or Eyelit MES).

This role is central to building our delivery capability and intellectual property as part of a newly formed MES practice
Responsibilities
Solution Architecture
Define and own end-to-end MES architecture for greenfield and brownfield implementations.
Create scalable, modular architectures aligned with ISA-95, ISA-88, and Industry 4.0 standards.
Translate business and functional requirements into technical blueprints.
Ensure MES solutions integrate seamlessly with ERP, SCADA, PLC, historians, and IIoT platforms.
Pre-Sales & Proposal Support
Collaborate with the MES Practice Lead on RFPs, proposals, and client workshops.
Create solution architectures, effort estimates, and delivery models for new pursuits.
Support creation of reusable solution assets, demos, and accelerators.
Project Delivery Support
Guide MES development teams during project implementation.
Review functional and technical specifications for accuracy and completeness.
Lead architecture reviews and technical troubleshooting in complex scenarios.
Ensure quality, performance, and scalability standards are met.
Collaboration & Innovation
Work closely with cross-functional teams including functional consultants, developers, and data engineers.
Evaluate and recommend technology stacks, OEM platforms, and integration patterns.
Contribute to internal capability building through mentoring, training, and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Experience in MES domain, with experience in a solution architecture role.
Deep hands-on expertise in one or more MES platforms:
GE Proficy (Plant Applications, Historian, Workflow)
Rockwell FactoryTalk Production Centre
Eyelit MES,
Wonderware, AVEVA
SAP MII/SAP DM
Strong understanding of shop floor systems, manufacturing data models, and production operations (OEE, traceability, quality, scheduling).
Proficient in integrating MES with PLCs, SCADA systems, and ERP (SAP/Oracle).
Familiarity with standards like OPC, MQTT, REST APIs, SQL databases, and edge computing.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Exposure to regulated industries like pharmaceuticals, Aerospace, or automotive.
Experience with MES in cloud/hybrid architectures (Azure, AWS).
Understanding of digital twin, predictive maintenance, and IIoT analytics integration.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
