Roles and Responsibilities:
Academic Leadership & Program Management
· Lead the MCA program by setting academic goals, managing faculty, and driving continuous curriculum improvement.
· Oversee the development and implementation of course structures, syllabi, and academic policies.
· Ensure quality of instruction through regular monitoring, feedback, and faculty mentoring.
· Promote research, innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration among students and faculty.
Faculty Management & Development
· Recruit, train, and evaluate faculty members.
· Organize faculty development programs, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
· Foster a collaborative and supportive environment for academic excellence and growth.
Student Development & Engagement
· Facilitate student mentoring, career guidance, and soft skill development.
· Monitor academic performance, progression, and support mechanisms for struggling students.
· Encourage student participation in co-curricular and industry-linked activities.
Industry & Academic Collaborations
· Establish partnerships with IT companies, startups, and research institutions for internships, guest lectures, and placements.
· Organize seminars, coding competitions, hackathons, and industry projects.
· Involve industry experts in curriculum design and assessment panels.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
· Ensure compliance with university standards, UGC/AICTE norms, and accreditation of bodies.
· Maintain documentation for audits, inspections, and quality benchmarks.
· Drive continuous improvement through feedback mechanisms and academic reviews.
Educational Qualification:
· Master's degree in computer applications (MCA) or equivalent from a recognized university.
· Ph.D. in Computer Science or related discipline preferred.
· Additional certifications in IT, software development, AI/ML, or data science will be an added advantage.
Experience:
· Minimum 10 years of academic and/or industry experience in the field of Computer Applications or IT.
· Proven track record of teaching, curriculum development, research publications, and academic leadership.
· Demonstrated ability to manage academic programs, mentor faculty and students, and implement academic best practices.
· Experience in NAAC/NBA accreditation processes and academic audit procedures preferred.
Salary- 12 LPA to 15 LPA
