We work in agile frameworks, support systems in private and public cloud, and prioritize data-driven decisions.<br/><br/><b>Job Responsibilities : </b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p><br/>- Apply resilience engineering principles to ensure stability, security, and scalability.<br/><br/>- Use technologies like AWS, Terraform, and Oracle to drive product success.<br/><br/>- Develop automated solutions for database administration and infrastructure tasks.<br/><br/>- Design and implement services aligned with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles.<br/><br/><b>Typical Qualifications : </b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p><br/>- Minimum 4+ years of experience with highly available systems and services.<br/><br/>- Expertise in OS and database tuning for performance and scalability.<br/><br/>- Strong understanding of relational database design and SQL.<br/><br/>- Experience with Oracle tools, version upgrades, migrations, and patching.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of multi-tenancy, GoldenGate, and DataGuard.<br/><br/>- Proficiency in OEM, RMAN catalog, and PL/SQL.<br/><br/>- Experience with enterprise server, storage, and networking architecture.<br/><br/>- Hands-on PostgreSQL DBA experience in a 24x7 production environment.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with server lifecycle workflows.<br/><br/>- Ability to drive system visibility for rapid issue resolution.<br/><br/>- Experience with AWS services : EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFormation, Lambda, ECS/EKS, Load Balancing, etc.<br/><br/>- Exposure to Puppet and Terraform.<br/><br/>- Proficiency in scripting/programming : Ansible, Python, Shell.<br/><br/>- Experience with SRE/DevOps principles, CI/CD, Bitbucket/GitHub.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with monitoring tools : Prometheus, Alertmanager, Grafana.<br/><br/>- Experience with GenAI is a plus.<br/><br/><b>About Athenahealth : vision : </b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p><br/>In an industry that becomes more complex by the day, we stand for simplicity.
