<p><p><b>Experience : </b> 6 to 8 years.<br/><br/><b>Location : </b> Bangalore, India.<br/><br/><b>Employment Type : </b> Full-time.<br/><br/><b>Role Overview : </b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with expertise in UI and API test automation.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Playwright, Python, API testing, BDD frameworks, and Data Warehouse/ETL testing.<br/><br/></p><p>This role requires a strong understanding of test automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, and reporting, with the ability to work across both functional and data validation testing.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Design, develop, and maintain UI and API automation frameworks using Playwright and Python.<br/><br/></p><p>- Build and maintain automation pipelines integrated with Azure CI/CD.<br/><br/></p><p>- Conduct API testing using Rest Assured.<br/><br/></p><p>- Develop and maintain BDD test scripts using Cucumber.<br/><br/></p><p>- Perform ETL/Data Warehouse testing (manual + automated), preferably using Great Expectations or other BI/DW tools.<br/><br/></p><p>- Execute validation and testing of Power BI dashboards and reports.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and business teams to ensure test coverage and quality.<br/><br/></p><p>- Use version control tools (e.g., Git) for code collaboration and management.<br/><br/></p><p>- Participate in defect triage, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Experience : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- 8+ years of experience in UI and API automation testing.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong hands-on knowledge of Playwright and Python.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in Azure CI/CD pipelines for test automation.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in API testing with Rest Assured.<br/><br/></p><p>- Preferred working knowledge in Cucumber BDD test automation.<br/><br/></p><p>- ETL/Data Warehouse testing (manual + automated) with tools like Great Expectations or equivalent.<br/><br/></p><p>- Power BI testing expertise.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with version control systems (Git or similar).<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
