</p><p><br/></p><p>As a Back-End Engineer, youll play a key role in building and optimizing the core services that power our APA platform.
You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable APIs, data processing pipelines, and backend infrastructure that enable AI-powered agents and human users to work in harmony.
If you're excited by innovation, scale, and purposeful engineering this is your opportunity to make an impact.<br/><br/><b>Location :</b> Bangalore<br/><br/><b>You will make an impact by being responsible for :</b><br/><br/>- Building robust REST APIs, services, and backend infrastructure to support business applications<br/><br/></p><p>- Working cross-functionally with Front-End Engineers, Product Managers, QA, and Support teams to deliver end-to-end features<br/><br/></p><p>- Writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
Participating in design and code reviews to uphold engineering excellence<br/><br/></p><p>- Identifying bottlenecks and improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of existing systems<br/><br/></p><p>- Recommending and adopt modern backend technologies, frameworks, and processes to improve development speed and maintainability<br/><br/></p><p>- Sharing best practices and support junior developers through guidance and reviews<br/><br/><b>You will be a great fit if you have :</b><br/><br/>- 7- 12 years of experience in back-end development<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficient in Java and one or more of the other server-side languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python, or similar)<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong knowledge of RESTful API design, microservices architecture<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong experience with Spring framework, including REST APIs, security, data access, and configuration<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in relational and NoSQL database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server, CDB, Elasticsearch)<br/><br/></p><p>- Exposure to message brokers like Kafka or ActiveMQ.<br/><br/></p><p>- Understanding of the client-server model, authentication, and authorization mechanisms<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with automation tools, observability stacks, or security best practices a plus<br/><br/><p><b>You excel in these key competencies :</b></p><p><br/>- System Architecture & Scalability : Expertise in designing and building robust, scalable backend systems and microservices that support enterprise-grade APA workloads</p><br/></p><p>- API Design & Integration : Proficient in building clean, secure, and high-performance APIs that power seamless integration between AI agents, automation, and human workflows</p><p><br/>- Performance & Reliability Engineering : Skilled in identifying system bottlenecks, tuning performance, and ensuring backend services are observable, resilient, and production-ready<br/><br/></p><p>- Security & Data Integrity : Deep understanding of secure coding practices, authentication protocols, and data governance in cloud and enterprise environments<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaboration & Engineering Leadership : Strong communicator and mentor who contributes to a culture of shared ownership, continuous improvement, and technical excellence across teams</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
