We are seeking an accomplished Senior Software Architect to spearhead the design and development of advanced infrastructure automation solutions.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in scripted automation using Python, and with configuration management technologies e.g. Ansible and Terraform.
Good working knowledge on Linux, container management, and integration with Elastic stack for analytics and monitoring.
This role demands a strategic approach to future integration with ServiceNow for end to end workflow design and requires expertise in automating network and related IT infrastructure component tasks, with a strong emphasis on API integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Architecture Design:
Lead the conceptualization and architecture of scalable, efficient, and resilient infrastructure automation solutions.
DevOps Practices Implementation:
Champion the implementation of DevOps practices to enhance automation workflows, including CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration strategies.
Infrastructure Automation Expertise:
Develop intricate automation solutions for network, firewalls, and other IT infrastructure components, leveraging advanced API integrations following RESTful API arch and integration design.
Technical Mentorship:
Mentor and provide expert technical guidance to the development team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Container Management Leadership:
Offer strategic guidance and establish best practices for container management, utilizing technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Comprehensive Documentation:
Create and sustain detailed documentation for architecture, design, and implementation processes.
Cross-Functional Systems Integration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and tools, including Elastic software stack and ServiceNow.
ServiceNow Integration Strategy:
Drive the strategic integration of configuration automation tools with ServiceNow, ensuring alignment with business processes and requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Extensive Experience:
Proven experience as a Software Architect or equivalent role, with a strong focus on infrastructure automation.
Technical Expertise:
Deep expertise in Python and Ansible/Terraform for automation scripting.
Linux and Container Proficiency:
Extensive knowledge of Linux systems and container management (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Infrastructure Automation Expertise:
Demonstrated experience in automating network, firewalls, and other IT infrastructure components.
API Integration Skills:
Strong emphasis on API integrations for seamless automation.
ServiceNow Familiarity:
In-depth familiarity with IT service management platforms, especially ServiceNow.
DevOps Practices:
Solid understanding and experience in implementing DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with version mgmt.
tools like Git.
Problem-Solving Excellence:
Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Effective Communication:
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

ServiceNow Integration Experience:
Demonstrated experience in integrating automation tools with ServiceNow.
Relevant Certifications:
Certifications in relevant technologies, as available.
