<p>Location : Mumbai</p><p><br/></p><p>Job Type : Full-time</p><p><br/></p><p>Experience Level : 4 - 6 years</p><p><br/></p><p>We're looking for a talented Automation Testing Engineer with 3-4 years of experience to join us in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications.</p><p><br/></p><p>Role Overview : </p><p><br/></p><p>As an Automation Testing Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts for both web and mobile applications.
You will work closely with the development team to ensure that software releases are thoroughly tested, high-performing, and free of bugs.
You will play a key role in improving the overall efficiency of the testing process by automating repetitive tasks and ensuring that we meet our quality objectives.</p><p><br/></p><p>Key Responsibilities :</p><p><br/></p><p>- Automation Test Script Development : Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications (iOS/Android) using industry-standard tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Test Planning and Execution : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements, design automation frameworks, and execute test cases.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Continuous Integration : Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or similar.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Performance Testing : Create and execute performance tests to ensure the applications meet required performance standards.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Defect Tracking : Identify, document, and track defects in test management tools (e.g., JIRA) and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Test Reporting : Generate detailed test reports that highlight the results of automated test runs, including issues found and recommendations for improvements.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Collaboration and Communication : Work with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and ensure the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the development process.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Continuous Improvement : Stay updated with the latest testing tools, trends, and best practices in automation and propose innovative solutions to improve the quality assurance process.</p><p><br/></p><p>Required Skills and Qualifications :</p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience: At least 4 years of hands-on experience in automation testing for both web and mobile applications.</p><p><br/></p><p>Tools and Technologies :</p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, and REST Assured for web and mobile automation.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or similar.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter</p><p><br/></p><p>- Working knowledge of version control tools such as SVN , Git.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Mobile Testing: Proficiency in mobile automation frameworks for both Android and iOS (e.g., Appium or similar).</p><p><br/></p><p>- Languages : Strong proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java and JavaScript.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Understanding of Agile : Experience working in Agile environments, including test case design, sprint planning, and retrospectives.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Defect Management : Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA or similar.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong Analytical Skills : Ability to analyze requirements and design appropriate test cases and scenarios.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Problem Solving : Ability to identify problems and devise efficient solutions.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with teams and :</p><p><br/></p><p>- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).</p><p></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
