<p><p><b>Description :</b><br/><br/></p><p>We are looking for an experienced Automation Tester proficient in leveraging automation tools and frameworks such as Maven, Cucumber, Selenium, API testing, database testing, TestNG, Rest Assured, Appium, pytest, and JMeter.<br/><br/>The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automated testing processes.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibility :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Develop and implement automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium WebDriver with Java.<br/><br/>- Design and execute automated test cases for RESTful APIs using tools like Rest Assured.<br/><br/>- Create and maintain automated tests for database interactions using SQL queries and relevant tools.<br/><br/>- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.<br/><br/>- Participate in test planning, estimation, and prioritization processes.<br/><br/>- Identify, document, and track bugs to resolution using bug tracking tools.<br/><br/>- Monitor and analyze test results to ensure software quality and performance standards are met.<br/><br/>- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA team and across development projects.<br/><br/>- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and new tools in test automation.<br/><br/><b>Requirements :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).<br/><br/>- Proven experience as an Automation Tester or similar role.<br/><br/>- Strong proficiency in automation frameworks such as Maven, Cucumber, Sillenium and TestNG.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for web application automation.<br/><br/>- Solid understanding of API testing using tools like Rest Assured.<br/><br/>- Experience in database testing including writing SQL queries.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter.<br/><br/>- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.<br/><br/>- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.<br/><br/>- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.<br/><br/>- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.<br/><br/><b>Skills :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.<br/><br/>- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify subtle issues.<br/><br/>- Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.<br/><br/>- Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing lifecycle.<br/><br/>- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.<br/><br/>- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.<br/><br/><b>Technical Knowledge :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices is a plus.<br/><br/>- Have good knowledge of function & Regress Testing.<br/><br/>- Has knowledge of API Testing (Postman), Database Testing, Unit Testing, Integration, Load Testing.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of SQL Database.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of Automation Tools.<br/><br/>- Good knowledge of BDD framework.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of PYLINT & Eslint tests is plus</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
