<p><p><b>Description :</b></p><br/><p><b>Job Summary :</b></p><br/><p>We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Tester with expertise in Selenium to join our QA team.</p><br/><p>The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of web-based applications.</p><br/><p>Youll work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.</p><br/><p>This role is critical in driving test automation coverage, maintaining test frameworks, and ensuring that all software releases meet functional and performance requirements.</p><br/><p><b>Key Responsibilities :</b></p><br/><p>- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.</p><br/><p>- Create and execute automated regression test suites for web applications.</p><br/><p>- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.</p><br/><p>- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing using automation tools.</p><br/><p>- Identify, document, and track bugs in test management and issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).</p><br/><p>- Enhance existing automation frameworks or build new frameworks as needed.</p><br/><p>- Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.</p><br/><p>- Monitor and analyze test results to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.</p><br/><p>- Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.</p><br/><p><b>Required Skills & Qualifications :</b></p><br/><p>- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.</p><br/><p>- 3+ years of hands-on experience in software testing with a focus on Selenium automation.</p><br/><p>- Strong knowledge of Selenium WebDriver with Java, Python, or C#.</p><br/><p>- Experience with test frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, or NUnit.</p><br/><p>- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test case design, and defect lifecycle.</p><br/><p>- Proficiency in working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.</p><br/><p>- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.</p><br/><p>- Experience with test management tools like JIRA, Xray, qTest, or TestRail.</p><br/><p>- Knowledge of XPath, CSS Selectors, and DOM manipulation for web testing.</p><br/><p>- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.</p><br/><p>- Strong verbal and written communication skills</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
