In this high-impact IC role, youll work closely with product, engineering, and customer success teams to design, build, and deploy intelligent systems that are central to the Aviso platform.
This is a rare opportunity to drive innovation in an environment where your work directly influences business outcomes and product Responsibilities : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Design and implement robust, scalable machine learning models for forecasting, ranking, </p><p>classification, and matching tasks.<br/><br/></p><p>- Translate ambiguous product and business requirements into well-scoped data science </p><p>problems with measurable success criteria.<br/><br/></p><p>- Lead experimentation, feature engineering, and model validation workflows in collaboration </p><p>with the broader AI/ML team.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and GTM teams to integrate models </p><p>into production systems and ensure end-to-end delivery.<br/><br/></p><p>- Write high-quality, production-grade code that is maintainable, testable, and Continuously evaluate new modeling techniques, data sources, and tools to improve </p><p>performance and expand capability.<br/><br/></p><p>- Provide technical mentorship to junior team members and influence data science best </p><p>practices across the : </b></p><p><br/></p>- 5+ years of experience in data science or applied machine learning, with a strong track record </p><p>of delivering production-ready models.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in Python and libraries such as scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow or PyTorch, and </p><p>Pandas.<br/><br/></p><p>- Solid understanding of statistical modeling, ML theory, experimental design, and model </p><p>evaluation.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with time-series modeling, NLP, graph-based models, or recommender systems is </p><p>a strong plus.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with cloud ecosystems (AWS/GCP), data pipelines, and distributed computing (e.g., </p><p>PySpark).<br/><br/></p><p>- Ability to independently own problem statements end-to-end while collaborating in a multi-</p><p>disciplinary team.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics to product </p><p>and business stakeholders.<br/><br/></p><p>- Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, </p><p>Economics).
