<p></p><p><b>Description :</b><br/><br/><b>Overview :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>We are seeking a highly skilled <b>DevOps Engineer</b> with 7+ years of professional experience, including hands-on expertise with <b>AWS CDK</b> using <b>TypeScript</b>, to help modernize infrastructure, ensure performance, and maintain security for cloud-hosted applications.
This is a remote role requiring the ability to work independently, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Design, develop, and maintain AWS infrastructure using <b>AWS CDK</b> in <b>TypeScript</b>.<br/><br/></p><p>- Migrate legacy infrastructure to modern, scalable AWS solutions.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure the stability, performance, and security of cloud-hosted applications.<br/><br/></p><p>- Work autonomously and take full ownership of assigned tasks.<br/><br/></p><p>- Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior DevOps engineers.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders using strong English communication skills.<br/><br/></p><p>- Contribute to project planning, tracking, and reporting activities.<br/><br/><b>Experience Required :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>- 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proven track record of designing and maintaining production-grade AWS infrastructure.<br/><br/></p><p>- Extensive experience working in remote and collaborative environments.<br/><br/><b>Mandatory Skills & Technologies :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Candidates must have all of the following :<br/><br/></p><p>- <b>AWS CDK using TypeScript</b> (Mandatory).<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in <b>TypeScript or JavaScript</b> (Mandatory).<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with <b>ECS (Fargate)</b> and Docker (Mandatory).<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong knowledge of AWS RDS (Aurora, MySQL, PostgreSQL), including backups, replication, and high availability (Mandatory).<br/><br/><b>Deep AWS Expertise In :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Security (IAM, encryption, policies)<br/><br/></p><p>- Scalable architecture design<br/><br/></p><p>- Containerization using Docker<br/><br/></p><p>- Networking (VPC, subnets, routing, security groups)<br/><br/></p><p>- Monitoring & Observability (CloudWatch, custom metrics)<br/><br/></p><p>- Performance tuning and optimization<br/><br/></p><p>- Golang (highly desirable)<br/><br/></p><p>- AWS Lambda<br/><br/></p><p>- RDS / Aurora / PostgreSQL<br/><br/></p><p>- EC2<br/><br/></p><p>- S3<br/><br/></p><p>- IAM<br/><br/></p><p>- Route 53<br/><br/></p><p>- SNS / SQS / SES<br/><br/></p><p>- CloudWatch</p><p></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
