<p>Job Description<br/><br/>- The AWS DevOps Engineer is responsible for automating, optimizing, and managing CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and deployment processes on AWS.
This role ensures smooth software delivery while maintaining high availability, security, and scalability.<br/><br/>- Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS, utilizing services such as EC2,EKS, ECS, S3, RDS, and VPC<br/><br/>- Automate the provisioning and management of AWS resources using Infrastructure as Code tools: (Terraform/ Cloud Formation / Ansible ) and YAML<br/><br/>- Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or AWS CodePipeline<br/><br/>- Advocate for a No-Ops model, striving for console-less experiences and self-healing systems<br/><br/>- Experience with containerization technologies: Docker and Kubernetes<br/><br/>- Prepare projects: participate in the upstream phase of the project, participate in the validation integration strategy, and identify the risks.<br/><br/>- Strategize and design: evaluate and design the upcoming deliverables and strategize the plan and help devpos engineers in technical as well as design requirements.<br/><br/>- Implement (install, develop, automate, document) these new delivery environment and tune existing deliverables and industrialize the components<br/><br/>- Assist the Dev (development) & Ops (Operations) teams in the implementation and appropriation of the proposed tools and methods.<br/><br/>- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools<br/><br/>- Implement and manage automation scripts using Shell, Python, or Groovy<br/><br/>- Administer and optimize tools like Jenkins, Maven, SonarQube, Artifactory, and Nexus<br/><br/>- Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline release processes<br/><br/>- Manage infrastructure and deployment on AWS or GCP<br/><br/>- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in Linux-based environments<br/><br/>- Ensure security, scalability, and high availability of DevOps processes<br/><br/>- Troubleshoot web and backend applications and issues.<br/><br/>- Good understanding on multi-tier applications.<br/><br/>- Knowledge on AWS security, Application security, security best practices.<br/><br/>- SCA analysis, analyzing the security reports, sonarqube profiles and gates.<br/><br/>- Able to draft solutions to improve security based on reporting.<br/><br/>- Lead, drive and implement highly scalable, highly available and complex solutions.<br/><br/>- Up to date with latest devops tools and ecosystem.<br/><br/>About you<br/><br/>- Strong knowledge of the Linux and DevOps, CI/CD<br/><br/>- Strong working experience of Private & Public Cloud<br/><br/>- Strong Knowledge of integration techniques (System & network configuration) and scripting (Shell/Perl/Python)<br/><br/>- Automation and configuration management tools : Ansible, Terraform and Gitlab CI<br/><br/>- Good command on containerization using Docker and Kubernetes<br/><br/>- Good to have working experience on GCP/Azure<br/><br/>- Optional : Knowledge BigQuery and Vertex AI would be a plus<br/><br/>- Optional : GCP certification</p> (ref:hirist.tech)
