<p><b>Role : AWS DevOps Engineer</b><br/><br/>- You have strong experience in a DevOps or infrastructure engineering role.<br/><br/>- You have a desire to automate and an Infrastructure as Code mindset.<br/><br/>- You are an analytical thinker who asks questions.<br/><br/>- You design and build CI/CD pipelines.<br/><br/>- You use pipelines in creative ways to automate tasks.<br/><br/>- You have a high degree of curiosity and constantly think about how to improve processes and produce excellent, high-quality solutions for our customers.<br/><br/>- You want every day to be different.<br/><br/>- You share your ideas and want ideas and feedback from others in return.<br/><br/>- You pay significant attention to detail and have a willingness to hold yourself and your team accountable.<br/><br/><b>Your responsibilities will be :</b><br/><br/>- Supporting our existing infrastructure, deployed across multiple regions using a variety of IaaS, PaaS and SaaS solutions, primarily in<b> AWS.</b><br/><br/>- Creating, extending, and enhancing CI/CD pipelines, primarily using <b>Jenkins.</b><br/><br/>- Experience in<b> Ansible</b> to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment across multiple environments.<br/><br/>- Helping ensure the continued availability, security, and performance of our products.<br/><br/>- Identifying improvements and recommending solutions.<br/><br/>- Administering and troubleshooting the cloud environment.<br/><br/>- Staying ahead of issues with proactive monitoring and alerting.<br/><br/>- Supporting out of hours deployments and providing out of hours support.<br/><br/>- Deploying product and server updates (or better still, automating them).<br/><br/><b>Role Requirements :</b><br/><br/>- You are knowledgeable about and familiar with DevOps and cloud infrastructure tools such as <b>GitHub, Azure DevOps Pipelines, Terraform, AWS, Bash and PowerShell.</b><br/><br/>- <b>Proven Python development experience (not just scripting)</b>; able to write clean, testable, and scalable code for infrastructure automation and service orchestration.<br/><br/>- You know how to build, deploy and run secure solutions.<br/><br/>- You have a good understanding of <b>Linux</b> server administration and <b>networking</b> principals such as DNS, IP subnets, peering, VPNs, etc.<br/><br/>- You self-organise, solve problems, prioritise and track tasks.<br/><br/>- You are an excellent communicator.<br/><br/>- You are comfortable working with staff at all levels and across business functions.<br/><br/>- You build consensus through teamwork and collaboration.<br/><br/>- You can work alone or in a team.</p> (ref:hirist.tech)
