<p><b>Job Title : </b>Node.js Tech Lead - Fintech (3+ Years Experience) <br/><br/><b>Company :</b> Ayekart Fintech Private Limited <br/><br/><b>Location : </b>Pune, India<br/><br/><b>About Ayekart Fintech :</b><br/><br/>Ayekart Fintech Private Limited is a rapidly growing financial technology company focused on building innovative solutions for businesses and individuals.

We combine cutting-edge technology with deep domain expertise to develop next-generation financial products-delivering seamless, secure, and scalable services to our expanding clientele.<br/><br/><b>Position Overview :</b><br/><br/>We are seeking a Node.js Tech Lead with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Node.js, PostgreSQL, Express, AWS, DevOps, Application Security, Redis, Kafka, and AWS Redshift.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers, architecting robust backend solutions, and ensuring the platform's high availability, security, and scalability.

You will play a critical part in guiding technical decisions, mentoring team members, and spearheading best practices throughout the development lifecycle.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>1.

Technical Leadership :</p><p><br/></p><p>- Lead and mentor a team of Node.js developers, providing guidance on design, coding, and performance optimization.<br/><br/> - Oversee code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and drive continuous improvement.<br/><br/>2.

Architect & Implement Backend Services :<br/><br/> - Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs using Node.js, Express, and supporting technologies.<br/><br/> - Integrate with databases (PostgreSQL, Redis) and messaging systems (Kafka) to build resilient microservices.<br/><br/>3.

AWS & DevOps :<br/><br/> - Deploy and manage applications in AWS (e.g., EC2, ECS, Lambda) with a strong focus on automation (CI/CD pipelines).<br/><br/> - Implement and maintain best practices for monitoring, logging, and infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation).<br/><br/>4.

Application Security & Performance :<br/><br/> - Enforce secure coding practices, address vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with security standards.<br/><br/> - Conduct performance profiling and load testing, optimizing Node.js services, databases, and caches.<br/><br/>5.

Data & Analytics Integration :<br/><br/> - Work with AWS Redshift or similar data warehousing solutions for analytics pipelines.<br/><br/> - Collaborate on data modeling, ETL processes, and ensuring data reliability.<br/><br/>6.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement :<br/><br/> - Collaborate closely with product managers, QA, and other engineering teams to deliver features on time and within scope.<br/><br/> - Communicate technical plans, progress updates, and challenges to leadership and stakeholders.<br/><br/><b>Required Qualifications :</b><br/><br/>- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Node.js development (Express or similar frameworks).<br/><br/>- Strong proficiency with PostgreSQL (design, queries, optimization) and caching solutions like Redis.<br/><br/>- Experience with Kafka (or similar messaging queues) for building event-driven or microservices architectures.<br/><br/>- Proven expertise deploying, maintaining, and optimizing apps on AWS (EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS, etc.).<br/><br/>- DevOps knowledge (CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes or ECS, infrastructure as code).<br/><br/>- Solid grasp of application security (OWASP, secure coding, threat modeling).<br/><br/>- Familiarity with AWS Redshift or similar data warehousing for analytical or reporting workloads.<br/><br/>- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor a development team.<br/><br/>- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience.<br/><br/><b>Preferred Skills :</b><br/><br/>- Experience with TypeScript and advanced Node.js design patterns.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation for AWS resource provisioning.<br/><br/>- Background in financial or fintech domains.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with microservices architecture and advanced monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana).<br/><br/><b>What We Offer :</b><br/><br/>- A pivotal role shaping fintech solutions that impact thousands of users.<br/><br/>- Leadership opportunities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.<br/><br/>- Competitive salary, benefits, and a collaborative culture that values innovation.<br/><br/>- Office in Pune, with possibilities for flexible work arrangements as needed.</p> (ref:hirist.tech)
