<p><p><b>Job Title : </b> Azure Data Engineer<br/><br/><b>Location : </b> Pune, India (On-site only)<br/><br/><b>Experience Required : </b> 7-8 Years<br/><br/><b>Job Description : </b><br/><br/></p><p>We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer with strong proficiency in Azure Data Ingestion Services and Data Engineering to join our dynamic team.<br/><br/></p><p>As a key member of our data engineering team, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines and ingestion processes, utilizing Azure services.<br/><br/></p><p>The ideal candidate will have 7-8 years of hands-on experience in data ingestion, be proactive in managing timelines, and show strong leadership capabilities in mentoring junior developers.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Data Ingestion & Engineering : Own and drive Azure Data Engineering and Ingestion tasks as primary activities.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ownership & Planning : Take proactive ownership of work planning, effort estimation, and alignment with timelines.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaboration : Work closely with the workstream lead to ensure the efficient execution of data engineering tasks.<br/><br/></p><p>- Mentorship : Act as a Senior Developer, guiding and mentoring junior developers to deliver high-quality solutions.<br/><br/></p><p>- Azure Services Expertise : Utilize and leverage Azure Data Services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and others to build and maintain robust data pipelines.<br/><br/></p><p>- Hands-on Development : Engage in hands-on development of end-to-end data pipelines, ETL processes, and data ingestion from various sources to Azure-based platforms.<br/><br/></p><p>- Optimization & Troubleshooting : Continuously monitor and optimize data workflows and troubleshoot any data pipeline failures.<br/><br/><b>Key Skills & Qualifications : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Experience : 7-8 years of experience in data engineering with strong expertise in Azure Data Ingestion.<br/><br/></p><p>- Azure Knowledge : Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and other Azure data services.<br/><br/></p><p>- Data Engineering : Solid understanding of ETL processes, data pipelines, and data integration.<br/><br/></p><p>- Project Management : Ability to proactively plan, estimate efforts, and ensure that work is delivered according to timelines.<br/><br/></p><p>- Mentorship : Previous experience mentoring junior developers or team members.<br/><br/></p><p>- Problem Solving : Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude in identifying and resolving issues.<br/><br/><b>Additional Skills (Good to Have) : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with Azure SQL Database, Power BI, and Azure Machine Learning.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment.<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of Big Data technologies, such as Hadoop or Spark.<br/><br/><b>Education : </b>Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
