<p><p><b>Job Summary : </b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Data Engineer with strong expertise in designing and implementing cloud-based data solutions.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and related Azure services, along with a solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT frameworks, and performance optimization.
This role requires both technical depth and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade data Responsibilities : </b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).<br/><br/></p><p>- Implement data ingestion, transformation, and integration processes from diverse on-premises and cloud-based sources.<br/><br/></p><p>- Configure and manage Azure resources including storage accounts, databases, and compute services.<br/><br/></p><p>- Develop and optimize SQL scripts, stored procedures, and views for data transformation, </p><p>analytics, and reporting.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure compliance with data quality, governance, and security standards using Azure Purview, Key Vault, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with Data Scientists, BI Developers, and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end data solutions.<br/><br/></p><p>- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve pipeline failures and performance issues.<br/><br/></p><p>- Document technical designs, implementation details, and maintain best Skills Required : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Azure Data Factory (ADF) : Expertise in pipelines, triggers, linked services, and data flows.</p><p><br/></p>- Azure Synapse Analytics / SQL Data Warehouse advanced query optimization and data </p><p>modeling.<br/><br/></p><p>- Azure Databricks (Spark/PySpark) : Hands-on experience in large-scale data processing.<br/><br/></p><p>- Azure Data Lake (Gen2) storage and data organization best practices.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, query optimization, and performance tuning.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and data modeling (Star/Snowflake schema).<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and SQL Server.<br/><br/></p><p>- CI/CD implementation using Azure DevOps; familiarity with Git, ARM templates, Terraform is a plus.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Exposure to Power BI integration is an Skills & Additional Qualifications : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</p><p><br/></p>- Excellent verbal and written communication.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ability to work independently and mentor junior team members.<br/><br/></p><p>- Preferred Certification : Microsoft Certified : Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203) or </p><p>equivalent</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
