Job Description :
We are seeking a highly skilled Server Engineer with strong Azure experience to join our Infrastructure team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, supporting, and optimizing our on-premise and cloud-based (Azure) server environments to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
*Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022).
*Configure and manage services in Microsoft Azure (VMs, Azure AD, Networking, Storage, etc.).
*Manage server patching, performance tuning, and routine maintenance tasks.
*Implement and support backup and disaster recovery strategies using Azure Backup, ASR, or other tools.
*Maintain infrastructure documentation, change management, and asset tracking.
*Collaborate with security and network teams to maintain compliance and security standards.
*Support Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and other core infrastructure services.
*Provide L3/L4 support for infrastructure-related incidents and escalations.
*Participate in capacity planning, infrastructure upgrades, and cloud migration projects.
*Work with vendors and other teams for issue resolution and implementation support.
Required Qualifications:
*Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
*5+ years of experience in server administration and infrastructure support.
*Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services.
*Expertise in Windows Server OS, Active Directory, and related services.
*Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
*Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, etc.).
*Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation.
Preferred Qualifications:
*Microsoft certifications (e.G., AZ-104, MCSA, MCSE)
*Experience in hybrid cloud environments (on-prem + Azure)
*Exposure to monitoring tools (e.G., Azure Monitor, PRTG, SCOM)
*Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management best practices
