<p><p><p></p><p>We are looking for a solid experienced backend web software engineer who is skilled in Python programming.
</p><p><br/></p><p>- We want someone who is passionate about web programming, IoT and startups and has experience building large complex web applications.
</p><p>Description :</p><p><br/></p><p>- We want an experienced practitioner who can write clean code, perform rigorous unit testing and has strong user-centered design thinking skills.
<br/><br/>- You are expected to design and develop the back-end server-side logic for our web and mobile applications.
</p><p><br/></p><p>- You will also be closely involved in developing the backend for the machine learning/data-science components.
<br/><br/>- While you will focus on web software development for our current and future product releases, you are also expected to juggle your time to develop rapid prototypes for new features and technologies.
</p><p><br/></p><p>- While your primary responsibility is backend, you should have the curiosity and passion to look at a product in its entirety, including the hardware and the embedded software.
<br/><br/>Job Requirements :<br/><br/>- BE/BS/B-Tech in Computer Science or equivalent or alternate proof of solid CS fundamentals acceptable.<br/><br/>- 2-5 years- experience in writing back-end server-side code using Python or popular Python frameworks like Django, Flask and Pyramid <br/><br/>- Worked on sophisticated web application products that scaled to millions of users and/or transactions.
<br/><br/>- Experience working in Agile development environment with a strong focus on rapid iterative software development <br/><br/>- Any hands-on experience in data science and machine learning is a big plus Strong experience with web technologies <br/><br/>- Any experience working on front-end javaScript frameworks such as Angular, Backbone or similar is a plus Comfortable with working in Unix/Linux, AWS, Azure and similar cloud technologies <br/><br/>- Comfortable with team based tools such as Bitbucket, Git, Asana, Bugzilla <br/><br/>- Bonus Have worked in a startup Designed interactive, SVG charts using D3 or similar technology Mathematical inclination and familiarity with statistics </p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience with NoSQL technologies (Cassandra, MongoDB) is a plus <br/><br/>- Contributed to the open source community e.g. github Hacked on hardware projects related to Internet of Things</p><p></p></p></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
