<p><p><b>About the Role :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>We are seeking a skilled and motivated Backend/API Developer with hands-on experience in developing serverless APIs and microservices using Microsoft Azure technologies.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in building secure, scalable backend systems using Azure Functions, API Management, and Node.js or .NET, along with a strong understanding of cloud-native event-driven architectures.<br/><br/>This role requires someone with a passion for clean architecture, secure authentication practices, and real-time integrations using Azures event streaming and messaging services.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p><p><b>API & Backend Development :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Design, develop, and deploy serverless APIs and microservices using Azure Functions (Node.js or .NET).</p><p><br/><p>- Integrate and manage APIs via Azure API Management with a focus on scalability, versioning, and security.</p><p><br/>- Implement Azure AD authentication and secure token validation for all endpoints.</p></p><br/><b>Cloud Architecture & Integration :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p><p>- Build production-grade, enterprise-level backend systems on Microsoft Azure.<br/><br/>- Leverage Azure Event Hub for real-time data streaming, event handling, and system integrations.<br/><br/>- Design and implement alert dispatch functions (Email/SMS), rate limiting mechanisms, and intelligent recipient routing.<br/><br/><b>Security & Performance :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Apply industry best practices for API security, token validation, and data protection.<br/><br/>- Monitor and fine-tune performance of serverless applications.<br/><br/>- Ensure reliability, fault tolerance, and high availability of deployed services.<br/><br/><b>Collaboration & Documentation :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Work closely with frontend developers, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.<br/><br/>- Write clear technical documentation, including API specs and deployment procedures.<br/><br/>- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architecture discussions.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Qualifications :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- 4 - 7 years of backend development experience, with a focus on cloud-native architectures.<br/><br/>- Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud platform, especially:<br/><br/>- Azure Functions (Node.js or .NET)<br/><br/>- Azure API Management<br/><br/>- Azure AD authentication<br/><br/>- Azure Event Hub<br/><br/>- Strong programming skills in Node.js (experience with .NET is a plus).<br/><br/>- Experience with secure token validation and API authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT).<br/><br/>- Understanding of event-driven architecture, real-time data processing, and alerting systems.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with email/SMS dispatch mechanisms, rate limiting, and routing logic.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
