<p><p><b>About The Role</b><br/><br/>System Engineer Networking role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructure, including Local LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, switches, and security systems.<br/><br/>This is a global/APAC role where you will manage the network infrastructure across multiple regions.<br/><br/>You will have access to the most up-to-date training, resources, and technology, as well as an unrestricted career path with the global leader in technology.<br/><br/>Make an impact on the world by coming to Barco!<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/><b>Network Design & Implementation :</b><br/><br/>- Together with the Infrastructure Architect, propose and define roadmap.<br/><br/>- Design, deploy, and maintain Local LAN infrastructure (inc R&D labs), WAN, and SD-WAN solutions.<br/><br/>- Implement advanced routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).<br/><br/>- Configure and optimize Wi-Fi networks for performance and coverage.<br/><br/>- Configure and manage enterprise switches, routers, and firewalls for seamless connectivity.<br/><br/>- Experience in cloud networking (Azure, AWS, GCP) are a plus.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of zero-trust security models or SASE frameworks.<br/><br/><b>Advanced Troubleshooting :</b><br/><br/>- Resolve complex network issues (connectivity, latency, routing, security breaches) across LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and Wi-Fi.<br/><br/>- Work closely with local teams to resolve active/passive network issues and ensure smooth operations.<br/><br/>- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.<br/><br/><b>Security Management :</b><br/><br/>- Configure and monitor firewalls (e.
Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet) and security policies.<br/><br/>- Implement and manage VPNs, ACLs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.<br/><br/><b>Wi-Fi Management :</b><br/><br/>- Design and troubleshoot enterprise-grade Wi-Fi networks (e., Cisco Meraki, Aruba, Ubiquiti).<br/><br/>- Conduct site surveys and optimize high-density environments.<br/><br/><b>Documentation & Reporting :</b><br/><br/>- Maintain detailed network diagrams, configurations, and security policies.<br/><br/>- Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software support.<br/><br/><b>Preferred Skills And Experience :</b><br/><br/>- B.Tech./B.E/M.Tech in computer science or equivalent stream.<br/><br/>- Desired Exp.
