<p><p><b>About the Role :</b></p><p><p><b> </b></p>We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer Security Solutions with deep expertise in firewall technologies, network security, and OT/ICS (Operational Technology/Industrial Control Systems) environments.<br/><br/></p><p>The ideal candidate will bring strong technical acumen in designing, implementing, and managing secure industrial network infrastructures, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.<br/><br/></p><p>This role requires working closely with cross-functional teams - including product development, OT manufacturing teams, and security operations - to deliver resilient, secure, and scalable solutions for industrial and critical infrastructure Responsibilities Architecture & Design :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Assess, audit, and recommend improvements to security solutions for OT/ICS and </p><p>manufacturing environments.</p><p><br/></p>- Design and implement robust firewall and network security architectures aligned with </p><p>industry best practices and compliance frameworks.<br/><br/></p><p>- Develop segmentation strategies (e.g., VLANs, routing policies) to protect critical systems from external and internal & Incident Management :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Monitor, respond to, and resolve or escalate network security incidents.</p><p><br/></p>- Collaborate with OT teams to develop and implement intrusion detection and prevention </p><p>solutions tailored to industrial environments.<br/><br/></p><p>- Conduct technical risk and vulnerability assessments, and propose actionable remediation & Stakeholder Engagement : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Partner with product development, service delivery, and product management teams to </p><p>achieve positive security outcomes.</p><p><br/></p>- Support OT/ICS teams in securing control systems while balancing operational reliability and </p><p>cybersecurity & Process Development :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Implement and maintain security controls, methods, and technologies to comply with audit, </p><p>industry, and regulatory standards.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Establish security operational procedures, playbooks, and technical documentation for ongoing maintenance and monitoring.</p><p><br/></p>- Contribute to secure deployment of infrastructure projects in industrial, corporate, or financial Improvement :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies within OT/ICS and enterprise environments.</p><p><br/></p>- Recommend improvements to strengthen resilience against cyber threats targeting industrial networks and critical Skills & Qualifications :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p><p><b>Core Technical Expertise :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong hands-on experience with firewalls (Palo Alto preferred) and IoT/OT security solutions.</p><p><br/></p>- Solid understanding of network architecture, routing, VLANs, and segmentation principles.<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint/network </p><p>security monitoring tools.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in network and system administration Knowledge :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience working in OT/ICS environments with knowledge of industrial control systems, </p><p>SCADA, and critical infrastructure security challenges.</p><p><br/></p>- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST, IEC 62443, ISO 27001).<br/><br/></p><p>- Understanding of security best practices for data centers and industrial Background :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Previous experience as a Network Engineer, OT Security Analyst, or Security Operations Engineer.<br/><br/></p><p>- Demonstrated ability to conduct technical security assessments and audits in complex networked Skills :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex security </p><p>incidents.</p><p><br/></p>- Excellent documentation and communication skills for creating runbooks, reports, and </p><p>security guidelines.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in high-stakes industrial environments.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
