The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in backend and frontend technologies, solid experience managing cloud infrastructure on AWS, and the ability to guide development and DevOps teams to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant applications.<br/><br/><b>Key Skills & Technologies : </b><br/><br/>Backend : Python, Django, Django REST Framework, FastAPI<br/><br/>Frontend : JavaScript (ES6+), ReactJS, HTML5, CSS3<br/><br/>Databases : PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis<br/><br/>Cloud & DevOps : <br/><br/>- AWS (EKS, EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, IAM)<br/><br/>- Container orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm)<br/><br/>- CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and deployment automation<br/><br/>- Linux administration and shell scripting<br/><br/>- Monitoring & logging (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)<br/><br/>- Security best practices : IAM roles, encryption, compliance<br/><br/>- Disaster Recovery & cost optimization<br/><br/><b>Leadership & Collaboration : </b><br/><br/>- Mentoring and guiding developers when required<br/><br/>- Designing scalable cloud architecture<br/><br/>- Code reviews and enforcing best coding practices<br/><br/>- Agile methodologies and project management (Jira, Trello)<br/><br/><b>Job Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/>- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of full stack fintech applications using Django, FastAPI, and ReactJS.<br/><br/>- Architect and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, including serverless functions (Lambda, API Gateway) and containerized applications (EKS, Docker).<br/><br/>- Develop secure, scalable, and high-performance RESTful APIs with proper authentication and authorization.<br/><br/>- Build and integrate responsive frontend components using ReactJS and modern JavaScript (ES6+).<br/><br/>- Manage both relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and in-memory databases (Redis) effectively.<br/><br/>- Create and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins to enable smooth deployments.<br/><br/>- Follow best practices for clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, including thorough testing.<br/><br/>- Ensure all development work complies with security standards, performance benchmarks, and fintech regulatory requirements.<br/><br/>- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality features on schedule.<br/><br/>- Take ownership of tasks and actively mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance and leadership across the team.<br/><br/>- Candidate must be willing to provide support during outside business hours for critical issues or outage situations.<br/><br/><b>Requirements : </b><br/><br/>- 5+ years of professional experience in full stack development with strong Python backend skills<br/><br/>- Proven expertise with Django and REST API development<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience with JavaScript and ReactJS frontend development<br/><br/>- Solid experience managing relational databases and caching systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis)<br/><br/>- Strong AWS experience especially with S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and EKS, RDS,<br/><br/>- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)<br/><br/>- Must be able to write clean, secure, and scalable code<br/><br/>- Knowledge of cloud monitoring, logging, and security best practices<br/><br/>- Comfortable working on Linux-based systems and debugging server issues<br/><br/>- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment<br/><br/><b>Additional Preferred Skills : </b><br/><br/>- Celery or similar tools for background tasks<br/><br/>- Kubernetes or container orchestration<br/><br/>- Monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry, Datadog)<br/><br/>- Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello)<br/><br/>- Prior exposure to fintech, banking, or similar regulated domains<br/><br/><b>Location : </b> Ahmedabad Work from Office <b>Experience : </b> 6 - 10 years <b>Shift Timing : </b> Monday to Friday, 9 : 30 AM to 7 : 30 PM IST <b>Salary : </b> As per industry standards and experience <b>Education : </b> Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology or related fields.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
