<p><p><b>Your Role :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- 35 years of hands-on experience with BigID or similar data discovery/classification tools (e.g., Varonis, Informatica, and MIP).<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong understanding of data governance, data privacy, and compliance regulations (GDPR, CCPA, SOX, SEBI etc.).<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience working with structured data in RDBMS (Oracle, MS SQL Server, and PostgreSQL) and unstructured data sources (file servers, SharePoint, cloud repositories).<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in configuring BigID policies, classifiers, data flows, and discovery and classification operations modules.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience integrating BigID with security tools like Microsoft Information Protection, DLP solutions, or SIEM platforms.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with metadata management, data catalogs, and data lineage concepts<br/><br/><b>Your Profile :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Design, implement, and manage data discovery and classification workflows using the BigID platform for both structured (e.g., databases, data warehouses) and unstructured data (e.g., file shares, SharePoint, email).<br/><br/></p><p>- Configure and maintain BigID connectors to integrate with enterprise data sources including databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL), cloud storage (AWS S3, Azure Blob), collaboration platforms (O365, Google Drive), and more.<br/><br/></p><p>- Define and customize classification policies, sensitivity labels, and data tagging rules to align with organizational data governance and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, SEBI, DORA etc.).<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with data owners, security teams, and compliance stakeholders to identify sensitive data types (PII, PCI, etc.) and apply appropriate classification and protection strategies.<br/><br/></p><p>- Integrate BigID with Microsoft Information Protection (MIP) and other DLP platforms or IRM tools to automate labeling and enforcement policies.<br/><br/></p><p>- Monitor discovery scans and classification jobs, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.<br/><br/></p><p>- Generate and present reports and dashboards to stakeholders, highlighting data classification coverage, risk areas, and remediation plans.<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
