            Job Description
            
                <p><p>This role involves the development and application of engineering practice and knowledge in the following technologies : Standards and protocols, application software and embedded software for wireless and satellite networks, fixed networks and enterprise networks; connected devices (IOT and device engineering), connected applications (5G/ edge, B2X apps); and Telco Cloud, Automation and Edge Compute platforms.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Design, develop, and maintain Linux kernel modules and custom device drivers for embedded platforms.<br/><br/></p><p>- Interface with hardware using protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, USB, PCIe, and GPIO.<br/><br/></p><p>- Work on Board Support Packages (BSPs) and SoC bring-up.<br/><br/></p><p>- Debug and optimize kernel-level code for performance, stability, and power efficiency.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and application teams to ensure seamless integration.<br/><br/></p><p>- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and  Skills Required : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Strong programming skills in C and C++.<br/><br/></p><p>- Deep understanding of Linux kernel internals, device tree, and driver frameworks.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with RTOS (e.g., QNX, VxWorks) is a plus.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with Yocto, Buildroot, or other embedded Linux build systems.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in using debugging tools like GDB, JTAG, and logic  Qualifications : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in automotive, IoT, or telecom domains.<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of secure boot, U-Boot, and kernel security features.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
