<p>Responsibilities:.<br/><br/> - Build and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure in Azure using scripting and Infrastructure -as-Code tools.<br/><br/> - Improve cost and efficiency of existing infrastructure in Azure using auto-scaling and dynamic provisioning of resources.<br/><br/> - Analyze system performance, resource utilization and troubleshoot any issues.<br/><br/> - Plan and execute large scale on-prem to Azure migrations using Lift-and-Shift and Re-platform methods.<br/><br/> - Use automation scripts and tools to improve efficiency and reliability of migration process.<br/><br/> - Implement repeatable solutions and automation for commonly faced tasks and problems.<br/><br/> - Implement and maintain network connectivity between within Azure and with on-prem network.<br/><br/> - Build golden AMIs periodically based on the requirements.<br/><br/> - Implement and maintain security controls as per client's requirements.<br/><br/> - Keep applications and infrastructure in cloud and on-premises environment up to date by applying latest updates and patches.<br/><br/> - Scan infrastructure and applications periodically to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities and issues.<br/><br/> - Create and maintain documentation/runbooks for system configuration, processes and procedures to efficiently operate a system.<br/><br/> Qualifications and Skills :<br/><br/> - B.S degree in Computer Science or equivalent through combination of education and work experience.<br/><br/> - 8+ years of engineering experience with 4+ years in managing infrastructure in Azure.<br/><br/> - Nice to have Azure certification.<br/><br/>- Strong Expertise with Azure services like db, function apps, storage, etc.<br/><br/>- Nice to have experience in deploying, maintaining SQL server and azure cosmos.<br/><br/>- Very good experience with IaC using terraform, Terraform Modules, etc.<br/><br/> Expertise in Azure devops pipelines, Shell Scripts, AKS, ISTIO, Service Mesh implementation, Kubernetes, Docker image creation, Manifests, BitBucket Pipelines, etc.<br/><br/> - Expertise in Linux and Windows administration.<br/><br/> - An understanding of core network protocols and services (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, REST/SOAP, FTPS/SFTP, DNS, SSL, firewalls, load balancers).<br/><br/> - Good scripting skills using python and bash.<br/><br/> - Strong understanding of Azure Best Practices to host secure and scalable workloads in multi-account Azure Landing Zone and Hybrid environments.<br/><br/> - Experience with configuration Management tools (Salt/Puppet/Chef).<br/><br/> - Experience troubleshooting security, performance and availability issues and monitoring workloads running in Azure.<br/><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
