<p><b>Job Role : Cloud Devops Engineer</b><br/><br/><b>Location : Hyderabad (Work From Office Only)</b><br/><br/><b>Employment Type : Full-Time</b><br/><br/><b>Experience : 4 - 7 Years</b><br/><br/><b>Roles & Responsibilities : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>As a <b>Cloud Devops Engineer</b>, you will be responsible for driving the design, development, and maintenance of large-scale cloud-native platforms and services.
Your expertise will directly contribute to the success of SaaS and PaaS product offerings, ensuring enterprise-level reliability, performance, and scalability.</p><p><br/><b>Backend Development & Infrastructure : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Architect, design, and maintain backend infrastructure for PaaS and SaaS solutions.<br/><br/>- Ensure system scalability, performance optimization, and reliability.<br/><br/>- Build and enhance Cloud GUIs such as Admin Portals & Graph Insights.<br/><br/>- Cloud-Native Product Development<br/><br/>- Drive development of cloud-native SaaS features including cloud billing, user and organization management, monitoring, and alerting.<br/><br/>- Integrate services seamlessly across AWS and GCP environments.<br/><br/><b>Kubernetes & Container Management :</b><br/><br/>Build, manage, and optimize Kubernetes (K8s) clusters and containerized workloads.<br/><br/>Implement container orchestration strategies for highly available systems.<br/><br/><b>Collaboration & Architecture : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Architects, and DevOps engineers.<br/><br/>- Define and implement enterprise-grade deployment strategies.<br/><br/>- Contribute to the architecture and technical direction of products.<br/><br/><b>Operational Excellence : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Provide end-to-end operational support for cloud infrastructure.<br/><br/>- Diagnose and resolve issues related to distributed systems and cloud services.<br/><br/>- Implement monitoring, observability, and incident response practices.<br/><br/><b>Must-Have Skills : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Strong command of programming languages such as Go, Java, Python, C++, or C, with the ability to design and optimize performance-critical code.<br/><br/>- Proven expertise in microservices architecture and distributed systems, including experience in scaling services horizontally and managing inter-service communication.<br/><br/>- Deep working knowledge of AWS and GCP cloud platforms with hands-on experience in deploying large-scale enterprise applications.<br/><br/>- Advanced proficiency with Kubernetes (K8s), including design, deployment, cluster scaling, service mesh, and container orchestration.<br/><br/>- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems, scripting (Bash, Shell), and low-level system troubleshooting.<br/><br/>- Proficiency in relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, including schema design, optimization, and query performance tuning.<br/><br/>- Solid knowledge of cloud computing concepts such as elasticity, scalability, load balancing, high availability, and cost optimization.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience in building SaaS platforms with focus on multi-tenancy, user authentication, access control, and billing modules.<br/><br/><b>Nice to Have Skills : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Hands-on with Docker, Helm, and other container tools for managing deployments.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.) for monitoring and diagnostics.<br/><br/>- Experience in cloud security practices including IAM, VPC design, encryption, and compliance frameworks.<br/><br/>- Background in cloud operations, incident management, and reliability engineering (SRE).<br/><br/>- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP) demonstrating expertise in cloud ecosystems.<br/><br/>- Previous experience in leading small teams or projects, driving outcomes, and mentoring junior members.<br/><br/><b>Experience & Qualification : </b><br/><br/>- 4 - 7 years of experience in software development, cloud engineering, and distributed systems.<br/><br/>- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; cloud certifications (AWS/GCP/Azure) preferred.<br/><br/>- Strong programming skills in Go, Java, Python, C++, or C.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience in microservices, Kubernetes (K8s), and cloud-native architecture.<br/><br/>- Proficiency with AWS/GCP cloud platforms and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).<br/><br/>- Solid knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and scripting with a strong grasp of cloud computing concepts.</p> (ref:hirist.tech)
