Job Description :
We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Cloud DevOps Engineers to join our team.

As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and implementing cloud architecture solutions using Microsoft Azure.

You will collaborate with internal teams to fulfil their requirements, ensure successful project delivery and to help maintain highly available applications.

Cloud Practice – Specialist Platform Engineer

Role Purpose
This role strengthens our internal Cloud Platform Engineering capability and supports multiple Practices by taking

greater ownership of the internal engineering backlog ,

running production grade platforms

(including

AI Chat Bot ,

Internal AI enhanced productivity and Ops , and future AI services), and

accelerating engineering maturity

across environments through

IaC, CI/CD, Kubernetes operations, observability and FinOps .

You will also

document and publish reusable patterns/accelerators ,

mentor Graduates

rotating for 3–6 months and

conduct Level1 interviews

to help close priority roles.

Key Outcomes
(What success looks like – first 12 months)
Backlog Ownership:

A transparent engineering backlog for shared platform work (multi-practice), with clear SLAs/SLOs and a steady burndown velocity.
Production Reliability:

Stable and secure operations of AI Chat Bot, Internal AI enhanced productivity and Ops experience platforms, and future AI services with robust runbooks, on call readiness, change discipline, and incident postmortems.
Engineering Maturity:

Measurable adoption of

Terraform/Tofu, CloudFormation, Ansible ,

Git based CI/CD , and

observability

across non-prod and prod environments.

(Adoption = services onboarded + policy conformance.)
Reusable Assets:

A curated internal library of

platform patterns, IaC modules, and CI/CD blueprints

that reduce time-to-ready for new work by 30–50%.
Talent Pipeline:

Training graduates complete a three to six month rotation, during which their skills and client readiness are documented and approved, while Level 1 interviews are conducted regularly using clear rubrics.
Stakeholder Confidence:

Consistent partner feedback on clarity of roadmaps, documentation quality, and timely platform support.

What You’ll Do
Platform Operations & Support
Run day-to-day platform operations for

AI Chat Bot, AI Enhanced Ops platforms, and future AI services

(availability, performance, cost, security, change/incident, and DR drills).
Establish production grade monitoring, alerting, tracing, dashboards, SLOs, and error budgets, drive observability by default.
Maintain configuration, patching, upgrades, backup/restore, and environment hygiene across cloud and Kubernetes layers with strong documentation and runbooks.

Engineering Enablement (IaC, CI/CD, Kubernetes)
Lead the

standardization and adoption

of Infrastructure as Code ( Terraform/Tofu, CloudFormation, Ansible ), Git workflows, and policy-as-code.
Build/maintain

reusable Terraform modules

and reference pipelines that are versioned, documented, and

tested .
Design and evolve

CI/CD

for both

platform

and

application

teams (automated testing, security gates, and release orchestration).
Operate and optimize

Kubernetes

(cluster lifecycle, addons, namespaces, network/security policies, scaling, upgrades, multi env promotions), guide teams on container and Helm best practices.

Architecture & Landing Zones
Contribute to

secure, compliant landing zones

and environment blueprints for AWS (and Azure as secondary) with network, identity, secrets, and controls baked in.
Collaborate on

scalable, secure AWS solution designs

and performance/cost optimizations for platform services.

Reusable Patterns, Docs, and Thought Leadership
Author and maintain

pattern catalogues, accelerators, runbooks, and best practices

for platform engineering and developer enablement.
Build small

libraries/utilities

that solve recurring problems for Cloud Architects and application squads.

Talent & Community
Mentor “Training graduates”

on rotation (3–6 months) via a structured and pre-defined learning plan (IaC, CI/CD, K8s ops, observability, SRE fundamentals).
Conduct L1 interviews , shortlist candidates, and provide structured feedback to hiring panels.

Core Technical Requirements
Must have
Cloud:

Primary

AWS , secondary

Azure ; hands-on with core services (e.g., EC2/EKS/ECS/Lambda/S3/RDS), landing zones, and security controls.
Programming:

Python

(development, not just scripting);

TypeScript

to an average level for tooling and portals; familiarity with REST and CLI tooling.
IaC & Config Mgmt:

Terraform ,

OpenTofu ,

CloudFormation ,

Ansible ; authoring reusable modules with tests and documentation.
DevOps Tooling:

Git ,

CI/CD

pipeline development (e.g., Jenkins/GitLab/CodeDeploy) and config/secrets management.
Kubernetes:

Cluster operations and app lifecycle management (Helm, ingress, service mesh desirable), with production incident handling.
Observability:

Tracing, metrics, logs, dashboards, alerting, capacity/cost visibility, and SLO/SLI design.
Identity & Access:

User management on cloud platforms,

IAM/RBAC , access role management, directory integration, and governance guardrails.
Nice to Have
Experience building

developer facing CI/CD blueprints

and

GitOps

workflows.
Exposure to

multi-cloud

and

migration of complex, multi-tier apps .
Certifications:

AWS (SA Associate/Professional, DevOps, SysOps) and

Kubernetes certification .

Professional Experience
7–10 years

total experience in cloud/platform engineering or DevOps for production workloads, including hands-on Kubernetes and IaC at scale.
Demonstrated ability to

document architectures, runbooks , and

present complex technical concepts

to mixed audiences.
Strong collaboration with security, networking, and application teams; “automate everything” mindset.
